Some positive results so far.
I have a 78lb Amer. Staffy. The vet keeps commenting on her weight. Admittedly she is a little on the chubby side. Either way I love her just the way she is but to appease my vets recommendations I started by cutting back her food portions. This has not been much help despite also walking her 1-2 miles almost daily. So I started to look for some extra help. That’s when I found Zesty Paws vet strength Weight Management Bites. I like that it is a vet formulated supplement. It addresses fat metabolism, feeling more satiated after meals, proper digestion, and contains fiber, L- carnitine and postbiotics and many of the B vitamins. Finally , a supplement that gives a larger size dog a 30 day supply. If you read labels not all of them do and it becomes expensive to replenish the supplement two times a month.I always like chews because they are so easy to give…as long as they don’t smell bad and the taste and consistency are yummy. These chews are all those things to my dog and she readily takes them. It has been about a month and so far she looks like she has slimmed down a little in the waist and has a small rise in her energy level. So far not a miracle cure but it hasn’t even been a full month so I actually feel good about the little bit of progress I see. I plan on giving it a full 3 or 4 months then assessing where we are at on the scale. As of right now with some positive results seen in a short time I would say they are a good value.

No Result After First 30 Days!
I didn’t notice a difference in weight with my dog in the first 30 days, but he really liked eating them compared to his weight management kibble.

These bites are great, my dog loves. She has no idea is a supplement. I give it to her as a treat and she really enjoys having them. I do see a difference in her appetite. She’s not begging for food anymore. It helps curb her appetite. she’s having breakfast and dinner with no begging in between, like before. I’d say they’re effective so far and they also help my dog stay calmer.

This worked for our dog
We have a fairly large dog that hovers just above 63 pounds which is a bit too much weight for her breed. These Zesty Paws seemed to have worked for us as her collar has had to be adjusted and the vet seemed pleased with her weight management. I also observed a couple of other items including an increase in her metabolism as well as poo rate. She goes at least twice a day now. Just as humans need to be regular so do dogs and this product has seemed to help. I also noticed not as much of the boot scoot since using the product with her. 5/5 stars for these reasons.

Didn’t Help & Contains Hidden Chicken
I bought these calming chews hoping theyâd ease my dogâs anxiety, but they didnât make any noticeable difference in his stress levels. Even worse, despite being labeled as “beef flavor,” the ingredients list includes chickenâa major problem since my dog has a poultry allergy.The chews themselves are soft and easy to break, but that doesnât matter if theyâre ineffective and risky for allergic pups.

Didn’t reduce my dog’s appetite
So, the vet says that my girl could drop a pound or two. And, yes, dogs feel exactly about those words the way humans do. They are not thrilled to cut back, lol. I was hoping that these would curtail my dog’s appetite, so that I could cut down on her kibbles without her complaining too much. We love the Zesty Paws brand and have used other health chews from this company and loved them. Indeed, my dog loves the taste of these chews. I drop two on them on her kibbles every night and she chows them down happily. But…I don’t notice any change in her appetite. As an overall digestive health chew, these are great. The ingredients are all positive, but, based on my experience, they did not help reduce my dog’s appetite.

Our chunky dog is losing weight without being food obsessed
We’ve been using these for about a month so far for our dog who put on some weight in recent months (totally our fault). Normally when she’s on a calorie restriction diet she’s obsessed with food and acts hungry all the time, even though we never put her on a severe diet, but taking two or three of these throughout the day she really seems to have a noticeably different attitude towards food, just seems more like her normal self. I can’t speak to whether or not this has affected her metabolism seeing as there’s no way to know for sure, but it does not affect her stomach or anything else negatively and she appears to really like them. So yes, she’s on a calorie deficit because realistically it seems like that probably has to be part of the picture, but in the past it has been stressful to put her on a diet because it seemed like she was always hungry and thinking about food all the time, whereas over the last month she’s been losing weight while not appearing to act any differently around food.
