This was a great value if you need them in bulk. Be aware there is no way to calibrate them. I tried the ice water test to check them and 2 were off by almost 5°.

use these to test AC performance, also used to use at a juice bar, calibration is easy, set it in ice water (32deg f) for a few mins, adjust w hex as needed, all came well calibrated. simple bimetallic thermometers. iirc these read to 120 so perfect for Ac, not really for cooking (but can be used to check fridge or freezer temps).

These are okay for the price. The inside gets clouded with steam pretty easily which makes it difficult to read.

The face of the thermometer melted when I was trying to take the temperature of the meat.
I didnât use it much because first one that I stuck into the Cornish gang hymns I was cooking cause the front of the thermometer to melt.

I got these to probe my meat while cooking. Even check temps during the cook and removing it. They have a plastic cover and they fall off almost instantly. The temp measuring is ok – very small though. It does read accurately.I suggest getting a glass thermometer.
