Works great as a dry brush to prevent in-grown hairs
I purchased these brushes to keep my skin exfoliated. They work very well to remove dry skin and keep the hair folicles open to prevent in-grown hairs that can happen as a result of hair removal by epillation. I use one of these brushes prior to using the emjoi to remove underarm hair they work very well.I have also used the other one on my face. As long as you use VERY feather light strokes, you should be okay. DO NOT use these brushes on the skin under or around your eyes. They will damage the skin barrier and wreak havoc in that area. But they do work well on the nose, forehead & chin. Just use caution on your cheeks or better yet, skip exfoliating your cheeks to be on the safe side.USING THESE BRUSHES WET WILL DAMAGE THEM. USE THEM DRY.

I gave this one star on my first review because the brush irritate my skin and the company gave me a full refund and told me to put the brush in hot water. I did and now it works perfectly. It’s a very good brush and I highly recommend it. I will definitely purchase again.

Great for everyday use
Great scrubs for my face, I use it every time I do a facial with a mask or use with cleaning up with Noxema. My face is much cleaner and brighter with a nice gentle scrub. Although the bristles can be hard, what I do it is, while the mask is drying on my face I allow hot water to run on the brush which make the bristles softer and gentler on the face.

Simple and effective alternative to battery power
I understand itâs too rough for some but when I scrub, I want it to mean something. I want to glow. Iâve gone through numerous complicated battery powered face scrubbers, but was never satisfied with the wimpy brushes. They were always way too soft and ineffective. So I was once again on here searching for a scrubby replacement brush and stumbled upon these. I figured why not give a try? Do I really need an electric one? Answer is no. Iâm glad I took a chance. These are very effective. At first theyâre very stiff but warm water will soften them up and after a couple of uses they soften up nice on their own. Just remember, youâre in control of the brush. Go lightly with the pressure at first until you get used to it, itâs your face not a car rim, and I like to go in small circles as I move about my face. I use a body brush that is similar to this, the body shop cactus body brush, and itâs the best for those looking for that real scrubbing you can only get from natural bristles. Nylon ones are useless. Anyways, Iâm thrilled with these and their simplicity.

Hard Bristles for Face
I like the size and the look, but the bristles are a little too hard for the face. Would be good for scrubbing hands after working in the garden or on your car engine, but would not recommend as a facial brush.

The description says these brushes have soft bristlesâWRONG! These bristles are incredibly stiff and painful. They are better suited for cleaning shoes, not delicate facial skin. Buyer beware!

Terrible for face
Definitely do NOT purchase this if you are wanting a face exfoliator. It is way too rough for that and will absolutely cause damage to the skin. However, Iâm giving 2 stars bc I used it to exfoliate my legs and arms before shaving and it worked very well for that. Super smooth shave!
