it’s truly a MIRACLE in a bottle
It does exactly what it says it’ll do!! Such an amazing product that the first time I used this, my hair was transformed. I’m 60+ years old and the hair was looking frizzy. Wanted to try the Virtue Shampoo and Conditioner for a while – got it on subscribe and save on Prime Day. It is a little pricey – but for me worth every penny!My hair is changing due to âthe changeâ at 52 and after years of coloring and heat damage it is not in great shape. This stuff has been AMAZING! It cleans my hair – no coating or waxy feeling. A little goes a long way. Less breakage. Healthier looking. Softer. More shine. The fragrance is yummy but not overpowering at all. If you are on the fence – just get it. I do not think you will be disappointed.

Best hair care Iâve ever used in 50 years
This conditioner along with the corresponding shampoo and leave in conditioner are the best hair products Iâve ever used. Iâve tried hair products at so many price points and nothing beats this. I was a bit skeptical but noticed a difference on the first use. After two weeks, I was even more amazed at how soft, shiny, smooth, and easy to style my hair was. No frizz at all and I lose very little hair with each wash.Blown away by this stuff.

It seems to be working
In addition to the shampoo and conditioner travel sizes, I stopped using the hair dryer and use the coco and eve hair oil (but I was using the oil before and it wasn’t helping my straw-like hair). My hair is definitely happier and looking better each week. The only reason I removed a star is for the price of the full size bottles. I’m not sure I want to spend that much on shampoo and conditioner.

Avoid At All Costs Unless You Want to Further Damage Your Hair
I started using the Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner about 3 years ago. My hair felt softer when wet and was easy to comb through. So, I thought this meant that it was repairing the damage. Wrong! I started to notice that my hair was breaking off more after about 6 months. Then it became brittle and I lost all the elasticity. I never thought it had anything to do with these products because of how soft my hair was when wet and the ease of combing through it. However, it just became more and more frizzy, brittle, snapping off, split ends galore. Turns out, these products caused SIGNIFICANT protein overload, but due to something in the products coating my hair, it was hiding the damage it was causing. Now, my hair is so far gone with protein overload that itâs probably going to take a year to repair and Iâm praying I donât have to cut it off. I just had to spend hundreds of dollars on products to start correcting whatâs been done. Iâm furious with the brand not warning that these products are not meant for long term, but instead make it seem like an ongoing answer to prayers. I feel duped, especially after the staggering amount of money Iâve paid them to ruin my hair. I wasnât even aware of the amount of protein in these nor was I aware that itâs possible to overload your hair with it. The fact that the other ingredients hide what itâs doing so well makes me so angry. I turned to these products in desperation to save my hair and now itâs worse than when I started using them. They may be good for short term or occasional use, but donât buy these for your normal hair routine. I specifically saw advertisements with Jennifer Garner going through her daily routine with the Recovery system specifically. Itâs incredibly misleading, so donât buy into the hype. Turns out that many people also arenât finding out whatâs been done to their hair from these products until itâs too late. However, you wonât see it without some research. Used to love these and now theyâre one of my biggest regrets.

Fuller hair!
I got the matching shampoo & this conditioner recommended to me by the employee of a beauty supply store that also has a salon. I asked for bigger hair – complaining that mine is fine and straight and limp. Itâs also silky, but I donât want silky, if it means limp. He also handed me another product a 7 second detangle spray that I ended up needing! Iâve never had problems getting a comb through my silky straight hair⦠I did have a problem keeping barrettes in my hair. But I have TWICE the body I used to!! People notice and I tell them what Iâm using. Itâs been a game changer for my limp hair.ðð

This recovery Conditioner along with the restructuring mask have transformed my hair. I wash my hair every 5 days, normally, and use the mask one time then the conditioner the next. My hair is soft, has good movement and looks wonderfully healthy and does not look like in-my-late-60s hair! Will definitely purchase again.
