How Is This Not Getting More Attention
Tried the gentle version of this same brand. Itâs undeniably great. But for those who may be suffering from oilier skin or acne, this may be more suitable. Thatâs not to say this is more drying – that wouldnât be fair and not entirely accurate. It simply leaves the skin clean without drying, without increased sensitivity without redness or any other issues. Iâve been through the Cetaphil, Ceravae and La Roche Posay families. They just never lived up to the hype. Here – less is more and in this case – much more. Great foaming action. Mild, if any, scent. No burning. No drying. No irritation. Leaves the skin in its most neutral state such that if you want to layer products on after that? You be you. But, you will not find a more solid cleanser than this. This needs a greater shout out than it currently gets.

Great for sensitive skin!
I have suffered with sensitive rosacea skin. Which tends to be on the oily side. I have been trying in all of my 60 years to find a facial cleanser to use that would not leave my face feeling like it was on fire. Even âsensitive â or ârosacea â cleansers only left my skin that much worse. Some how I stumbled upon a article that rated this as the number 1 cleanser for rosacea. I said what do I have to lose Iâve tried everything else. When I felt the first pump in my fingertips I thought how smooth this feels. And after washing my face felt ok! I cautiously kept going am and pm! It has now been 6 months and I have never looked back! I am so happy with this! I still have a touch of redness but nothing like before! I could go make up free if I wanted where as before there would be no way! I am so happy I decided to give one more try!

Gently does its job
It cleanses without stripping your skin.Doesnât leave my face feeling tight and dry after I wash it.Has a light lather which I prefer. My face doesnât feel clean if I donât have a few little bubbles.Jets flew (super low) over our house the other day while I was washing my face (eyes) and I opened my eyes, got soap all up in them and while it burned as soap does, it washed out immediately without leaving my eyes red, dry, irritated. Seriously, Iâd honestly forgotten it had happened until I saw the prompt of âideasâ while writing this review and one of the ideas was âburns.â It was an unremarkable experience, which I donât think Iâve EVER had when something foreign has gotten into my eyes, be it sunscreen, windex, sweat, eye makeup remover, etc.Itâs not fancy, with pretty packaging but it doesnât have to be because it does what itâs supposed to do.I used to use Sunday Riley and then later Drunk Elephant cleansers which stripped my skin pretty badly (this was a case of operator-error. I should have used this cleanser (or something similar) daily with the other SR and DE periodically.) I stopped washing my face with anything other than water for pretty much a full year. I tried cetaphil for a while but I had break outs and it made my face itch. This was my next purchase and itâll be my last. Itâs become a holy grail product for me and, unless the formula changes, I wonât stray.It doesnât work wonders for waterproof mascara and because of this, Iâve switched to water soluble mascaras. If you wear waterproof stuff, use a waterproof makeup remover first.I donât wear much makeup anymore, I do try to wear sunscreen because I use retinol a couple times a week. This cleanser removes my powder bronzer, pwdr blush, 24/7 eyeliner, mascara and sunscreen.

We use this as hand soap for our boy with sensitive skin. He has no issues with it and we used to pour into small travel size bottles for him to bring to school with – used to he doesnât use soap anymore 🙁

I have dermatitis on my hands and tried a bunch of different soaps – others may be as gentle but I find that they don’t lather up very well. This one is gentle and sudsy. Just a little bit of water and the product and you can lather up with it.It’s been a life saver. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive. But again, since it lathers up so well, you only need a drop to get the job done.
