We love our Huskies, Nova & Ranger, but hate their hair! After years of being frustrated with their hair consuming our lives, we finally decided to take matters into our own hands to build pet hair cleaning products that actually work!
Most pet brushes come with bristles. Bristles are soft and with even just a minute amount of pressure will bend. This results in them being unable to pull out any embedded hair from the fabrics because they simply bend over the hair. The Uproot Cleaners come with a metal edge with special grooving, engineered specifically to trap even the most embedded hair without damaging the fabric.

I have a big white wooly malamute dog and it’s impossible to not know every place she’s even thought about going. My house and car are covered in hair…but my rugs, car upholstery and house upholstery aren’t. This thing is like Magic. Especially in the car. What used to take hours and hours and hours of vacuuming. Now takes five minutes. The hair just comes up. It just grabs it and pulls it up in a neat little pile, and you’re done. I have very weak hands and I can even use it. I highly recommend.As far as the reviews that said that it damaged that fabric, just use your common sense and try a small area’s First to see if it’s gonna catch. For me it works great on all the typical common places you want to get hair up, which is carpet, rugs, upholstery, furniture. I’ve even used it on my pants before, but there are some clothing fabrics that will easily snag so on those types likely a sticky roller would work. With this genius product I am able to keep all my rugs clean, my car clean and my furniture clean. I don’t know how I lived without this tool my whole life. My professional house cleaner even loves it. Excellent little tool!

Expensive but worth it
I can only describe this pet hair remover as working like magic! I have two Long-haired cats and my fur babies shed constantly. They tolerate brushing sometimes when they are in the mood (you cat people know how cats are), and my oriental carpet is a pet hair magnet. I have tried everything and spent a bunch of money trying to find something that really works getting the fur up without breaking my back. Vacuuming does not work entirely. I even bought a vacuum that is the same price as a used car (about $2000)!! It doesn’t work because the fur is embedded in the carpets. (by the way, I took the vacuum back).This hair/fur remover is amazing! The little “teeth” or ridges on both edges of the rake are small but powerful and they are not sharp so you don’t have to worry about cutting yourself or the carpet. I don’t have to put much force or pressure to pull the remover back across the carpet to get the hair loose. It also leaves the fur/hair on the carpet so I can pick it up off the carpet. I don’t have to fight to pull it off the remover , and there is no compartment that I have to dump all the time. I just simply pick the fur up off the carpet. The only negative is it let’s me see just how much hair my little fur babies shed on the carpet. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work on all carpets. It works fine on my oriental, but not on the berber carpet that I have. The instructions say that you can use on fabrics too, but I have never tried that.The one I bought is really small with a short handle which is why I am taking a star away and giving it four stars. It works fantastic, but it is too small and expensive. I understand there is a larger version that has a longer handle more like a rake which is even more expensive (Amazon has it, of course). I hate to spend so much money, but it works so well that I will probably “bite the bullet” and buy the larger one despite the expense.

I was skeptical as a pet owner who has tried many pet hair removal products but this is awesome! It got all the dog hair out of my rugs and off my furniture. Itâs super easy to use and honestly works much better than my Dyson vacuum. Kudos to the genius who invented this product!

The most effective tool for carpet cleaning (BETTER than a vacuum by 200%)
OMG. I was about to rip out my carpet before I bought this magical tool. I have two long-haired cats who shed an extreme amount of fur (it flies in the air and lands in my food). The carpet in the bedroom was impossible to clean. A nice handheld vacuum broke because the fur got into the engine. Another (less nice) vacuum simply did not work to remove the fur. I had another hair remover tool that I used with some difficulty but greater success than vacuums. When I got my hands on the Uproot, I was a bit skeptical. It just looked so unassuming and small… and then, magic! The hair, the embedded granules of their litter, all the dirt that had accumulated literally since I owned my house (2 years!) is GONE!!!! I also actually enjoyed using this. It was fast and satisfying, because the results were so so good. It was also cheap – don’t buy an expensive vacuum. Buy this thing for less than 20 bucks. I can’t say enough good about Uproot. I’m buying it for my friends with long hair.

Only for fuzzy fabrics
I have a couch that gets pet hair stuck in the fabric and it’s really hard to get it out. I’ve tried all the other types of products, with varying results, and was hoping this would be the answer. It was not. Even though the couch is a really durable fabric, it quickly became apparent that using this tool on it will make the fairly flat fabric become fuzzy so it’s simply not an option. It did pull out hair, but no better than some of the other tools (works pretty much the same as the cheaper squeegee-type tools and slightly better than the chom-chom roller). I can see it working really well on carpets and car mats, but I would not use it on any fabric that isn’t already fuzzy. In my opinion, they should only market it for that use. So for my purposes, it’s one star, but since I can see how it would be good on what it’s probably intended for, I split the difference and gave it a 3. Kind of annoyed about it, though.
