Great Value Ink That Gets the Job Done
I’ve been using this printer ink for a few days now, and it’s been a solid alternative to the past name brand cartridges I purchased. The print quality is surprisingly goodâcrisp text and vibrant colors that are nearly indistinguishable from the manufacturers ink.Installation was straightforward and fully compatible with my printer. Correct for Brother HL-L3290CDW, work great, you get TWO black and the 3 colors!
Worked perfectly right out of the box. If you have a Brother HL-L3290CDW color laser printer, you know that changing the toner cartridges is a bit fiddly but that is just a design issue and has nothing to do with these particular replacements. Once you get the cartridge to seat correctly in the carrier and put that back in the printer, it saw the cartridges as 100% full and it prints out just fine with these replacements. I received this order next day and the price is unbeatable. Remember, with this set, you get FIVE cartridges (the 3 colors plus TWO black) instead of the usual 4 cartridges from other vendors (3 color and only one black).

I can’t entirely attribute these issues to Forzik since I suspect Brother printer company is really to blame. When I went to install these cartridges I was dismayed to find these seemed to be much to small to install where the old cartridges were. Almost led to an immediate return. But looking a bit closer I noticed the original cartridges had two parts. One of them was a match for these replacements.Next my printer threw an error on the magenta cartridge saying it was nearly empty. For some reason the new cartridge didn’t reset the magenta toner counter (it’s a page counter just FYI, doesn’t even measure the toner!). After a little internet searching I found a youtube video on resetting printer cartridges by Groovypost. It’s easy to find with google. Anyway after pressing a couple keys on the printer I was able to ‘reset’ the printer toner counter and all worked perfectly. Would be nice if the seller here could include a troubleshooting link or something similar to help us through these issues.
