Can alarm when temperature drops to set point
Nice! Two probes, two sockets, two temperatures displayed (useful). Accurate and quick temperature reading. Loud and clear alarm when temperature rises to a set point; also (much rarer) when temperature _drops_ to a set point. The info talks about tracking grill/smoker temperature to keep it up to heat, but the low temp alarm is also useful for making yogurt, making cheese, tempering chocolate, making candy (it’ll watch until the candy is cool enough to mold), making ice cream and other frozen/chilled foods…so many uses. This is only the second thermometer I’ve found with this ability; it should be advertised better in the listing. The probes, and the thermometer, can handle a wide range of temperatures (500F+ down to below freezing). The probes are thick and solid, long enough to go well in to meat or a mixture. The only clip that comes with it is an Omega shape, designed to go between grill rack bars; it’s decent but not great on a pot edge (balances but doesn’t clip so will fall over if bumped). I’ll be looking for a pot clip for this (the one I have, for another thermometer (ChefPro) won’t work because their probes are thinner than these and the ThermoPro probes won’t go through the hole). I am extremely pleased with this. Stainless steel body and probes, strong magnets (I still wouldn’t advise putting it right on the body of the grill – on a leg, perhaps? Or a side table?), splashproof but not waterproof (from the listing, not anything I’ve run into). It’s got presets for various meats and levels of doneness, but can also be set to any temperature (Custom). The setting procedure isn’t completely intuitive – I do a lot of press button, press again, whoops I wanted where it was after the first press, press some more until it goes back to neutral and start again – but it’s not all that complicated either. There is a (small booklet) manual with the thermometer, if all else fails read the instructions.

Accurate and easy to use
I had a wireless Bluetooth 4 probe thermometer previously and it gave me false readings bad enough where I ruined a couple pieces of meat on the smoker waiting for the temps. I’m much more aware of the time and expected temps now but I also got this thermometer to replace the old one I knew was not working correctly. Used this thermometer with great success last weekend to make some ring bologna and summer sausage. Had one probe attached the rack with one of the two included brackets. Worked well. Had the other three (as well as some single probe units I’ve had for a while) in the meat. All worked well. Everything came out great. I cross referenced and verified the temps all the ways I know how including in my mouth, in the fridge and in the same chunk of meat as other thermometers. They seem as accurate as any others I have. For what I’m doing a couple degrees here and there don’t matter anyway.My only complaint is that you can’t leave the backlight on constantly. I know it would wear down the battery quickly but I was smoking the sausage all day including after dark and this thermometer was hard to see outside. Not that big of a deal for me to step outside with a flashlight so it’s a pretty small complaint.I felt like the alarm temp setting was easy to figure out how to change. Pretty intuitive.The magnet is plenty strong to hold itself on the outside of my smoker.The probe cords were long enough for my purposes. I can’t imagine needing anything longer.The first probe cord I inserted to the head unit, I didn’t seat properly so it didn’t register anything. You have to push pretty hard to get the cord properly inserted into the head unit. Harder than I expected anyway.I like the color coordination. It was nice to say the orange is the summer sausage and the blue is the smoker itself and the green was the ring bologna or whatever. Instead of having to say the top is the ring bologna and the second one down is the summer sausage etc.Overall I’m very happy.

Excellent temperature probe
This is an excellent temperature probe. Quality construction, easy to use, it works perfectly for its intended purpose. I am very pleased with it and highly recommend it.

This thermometer is accurate and does the job!
The software is easy to use. The temp is accurate. You have two leads so you can use it for different parts of your turkey or you can use it when you are cooking low and slow on your grill or smoker to measure the temperature of your grill at grate level and the temperature of your meat. The wire and the stainless steal probes are made of the finest materials! This thermometer can be set as a timer. For the money spent this is an excellent value from a brand I trust. I know own three different devices from this company and all are excellent! DO NOT DROP IT!! I dropped mine and that was it! Nothing worked right. Since it is my fault, I did not contact the company and I just ordered another one. I love the size, interface and functionality. I think this is a good product. Like any electronic product, be careful with hit.

Very accurate !
These work fantastic! I use one probe in a roast, and one probe in oven or bbq grill when cooking. The probe in oven or bbq grill lets me control a desired temp, as well as making sure temperature is set right in the oven or bbq grill. After review of other similar products, such as wireless probes that connect to your phone or the unit that comes with probes, the wireless type is not as accurate as well as connectivity issues due to range of connectivity.

Good piece of equipment
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Does a good job. I like that thereâs two probes. I primarily use it to bake bread and I like that you can set it to beep at the target temperature. Usually I put two probes in one for when I need to uncover and one for when itâs done. Just be careful taking them out itâs hot! Also itâs magnetic and can stick to the front of the oven to free up counter space

Works as expected
I got this for my smoker and so far itâs been pretty good. The update speed on the probs are fast giving me an accurate reading at any given notice. The alarm can be a little quiet at times, but when I stuck it on my propane tank itâs loud enough to be heard on the other side of the house.

This thermometer is excellent. Iâve used it for a couple of years now. Works well with all meals I make. Itâs rare I donât use it tbh. Its accuracy is excellent plu itâs easy to use. Good for two foods at once. Food is always cooked to the temperature desired. Once you get to know it you can determine yourself when to end the cooking time earlier if you find it overcooks. Iâm really happy with this product, one of the best purchases Iâve made in a long time. No complaints.
