A Lot of Power for a Mini Device
I am pleasantly surprised (one might say shocked) by how well this little device does its job. Iâve been doing a lot of hiking in the past few months, and have unfortunately come to the conclusion that my muscle recovery time isnât what it used to be. My daughter has a Theragun Pro and loves it, so I decided to give the mini version a try – I heard itâs lighter and just generally easier to operate. The Theragun Mini has been amazing for post-hike wind-down, and I donât feel the icky next day soreness nearly as much anymore. I havenât tried percussive massagers in the past, but can say that the intensity and benefits are easily comparable to a regular in-person massage session. Wanted to specifically mention some huge pros in my opinion – 1. Easy to hold/handle. I was a little worried that I would have trouble getting the tough spots on my back or that it would be clunky/slippery, but I have had no issue with either. It is still well built and the frame doesnât feel cheap, but my arm isnât tired afterwards. 2. Battery time is more than acceptable – it takes about an hour to fully charge, which gives about 2 hours of runtime. I usually do 8-10 minute sessions, and I havenât noticed the charging being a nuisance at all. 3. Very quiet for how powerful it is, itâs high pitched and kind of sounds like an electric toothbrush. Itâs also really portable and comes with a soft protective case that Iâve also been storing it in. This is definitely a good introductory device into the world of percussive massagers – it has changed my well-being for the better.

We were familiar with an earlier version of the Mini because our daughter-in-law had loaned herâs to us. The Gen-3 Mini we just bought is somewhat smaller and easier to handle. Also, it comes with 3 different attachable massage âballs.â My wife really likes the larger, soft massage âball.â

I bought this after purchasing a cheaper one and being terribly disappointed. Iâm so much happier with this one – itâs lightweight, powerful, the attachments are well thought out. Best of all – after about 15 minutes the stubborn knot in my neck thatâs been causing a tension headache for the last week has finally relaxed. For the first time in over a week my neck actually doesnât hurt.Itâs not overly loud, the vibration is contained for its power, it doesnât get hot, and itâs extremely easy to use.We own a full size muscle gun, and itâs amazing – but just too heavy and cumbersome to use by yourself. This is perfection for on- your-own personal use. Iâm elated.

Nice but expensive
I bought this for my husband but his legs are super tender and he could stand it. I was trying to replace my complimentary leg massages ð Well, human touch is always best. I tried it on my calf knots and quads and it felt great. But for the money I felt my foam roller could do the same thing for a lot less. But if youâre have muscle pain, tight muscles or any type of issue that requires massage therapy or physical therapy you might want to give this a try.Do you have restless legs? You might actually half calf knots messing with your circulation. When my legs are restless I go foam roll and discover tight knots in my calf I didnât notice otherwise. I run and donât have calf pain, but when I foam roll or use this they become apparent right away. So if you have restless legs try using this when it acts up and see is it helps. Itâs all about circulation and longevity.

I LOVE the Mini 3!
I bought this to replace my cheap massage gun from a few years ago. I didnât want to break the bank for a new one, so I opted into the Mini. I had heard a lot of great things about the Mini 2, and I decided to give the Mini 3 a tray. I was not disappointed! I saw reviews saying the Mini 3 was worse than the Mini 2, but I think the Mini 3 is PERFECT. Compact size, travel case, and packs a punch at a bargain price for Thermabody. I love this massage gun and it leaves home with me everyday for the office! It has been key for run recovery as I train, and I am VERY happy with my purchase!
