The Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid 7% Toner is kind of a cult favoriteâand for good reason.I started using it a few times a week at night, and within the first two weeks, I noticed my skin was smoother, less congested around my nose and chin, and definitely more radiant. It’s not a dramatic overnight transformation, but it’s like your skin slowly wakes up and starts behaving better.The feel? Slightly tingly at firstâespecially if you’re new to acids. It’s watery, almost like a micellar toner, and absorbs quickly. I apply it after cleansing and before serums or moisturizer. I donât rinse it off.What it actually helped with:Uneven tone â My cheeks had some mild discoloration from old acne marks. Armpits chicken skin gone
I know this is a toner, but I use this for my armpits every night. And believe me when I say this toner visibly improved the texture of my armpits. The chicken skin is almost gone. There’s a little tingling sometimes, but nothing Im worried about. I’m so impressed with how smoother my armpits are, it’s brighter than before. And I haven’t even used this for very long. I started using The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution on my back to help with acne marks, and itâs honestly working better than I expected. After a few weeks of using it a few times a week, Iâve noticed the dark spots and post-acne marks starting to fade. My skin looks more even, and the texture feels smoother too. It tingles a bit when I apply it, but nothing too harsh, and I always follow up with moisturizer. For something so affordable, itâs been a really effective part of my body care routine.

Strong exfoliator that works; don’t overuse
I get breakouts from time to time and I find that using this on my skin will help dry and clear out the breakout a few days after I tap it into my skin. I can’t use it more than once every few days because I find that it stings and will cause flakiness, but that is normal with exfoliating products. It does feel pretty strong, so I’ll add product into a gauze / cotton sheet, and then will tap it into my skin at night – generally once a week is a good practice. If you have really sensitive skin, I would recommend adding to a cotton sheet after saturating it with some water. I really like the smell – sort of smells like apples.

Love it. In addition to using this on my face, I also use it on areas where I sweat a lot and it has made a significant difference in how I smell when I sweat. Good quality at a great price point. Product came sealed, unused, unopened. I use my clean hands to apply the product, be wary not to use in any open wounds otherwise it will sting. Also only apply during nighttime to avoid making skin too sensible to sunlight. It has no fragrance yet it has a slight herbal scent? Once it dries it no longer smells. Gave it 5 stars because after a month of use it has helped me with my skin’s texture.
