Customers say
Customers find the thermometer accurate for both indoor and outdoor temperatures, with large numbers that are easy to read from a distance. They appreciate its functionality, with one customer noting it worked well for two years, and its ease of setup, with one mentioning it’s simple to hook up to an aquarium. While the display size and readability receive positive feedback, durability and battery life show mixed results – some find it reliable and easy to set up, while others report it breaking within a year and batteries lasting only one day.

Great thermometer.
Perfect size, easy to read. I always have an indoor/outdoor thermometer stationed in my kitchen. Works great and was easy to sync. Hope this will last a long time. Excellent item for the price. Quality construction.

Replace the battery when you get it and youâll be golden
Iâve had this for awhile, close to a year or so I think, and as far as I can tell, it works well! It generally seems pretty accurate to my weather app, just make sure you have the sensor in the shade. I do recommend buying a tiny screwdriver kit if you donât already have one, because you will likely need to change out the battery pretty quickly, if not immediately when you receive it if it seems like itâs not working, and youâll need to take out a super tiny screw to remove the battery.

I Guess For 10$….
Mine just died, so I got on here to write a real mean review, but then I thought “Well I suppose I should at least see what I paid for it, and when I bought it.” After seeing that its been about 9 months since I “installed” this, I suppose I can’t be too mad, given the price. The display is easy to read, even without any backlight, and with the probe on such a long cable its a pretty simple task to find a good spot to place it. It is a very basic model, but also at a very basic price, so any lack of other features is really to be expected. With all that said, I personally don’t think I’ll be replacing it, since I have another wireless thermometer that’s better in every conceivable way. Also a couple months ago this model swapped itself to Celsius, and after changing manually back to Fahrenheit, it just decided “Nope” and went to Celsius again. Since at the time it was usually freezing temperatures, seeing 0° or -1.5° didn’t take much math, but is still an annoying bug/glitch to have. But again, 10$. That’s why even with the OK quality and weird glitch towards the end of its life, I still feel like I have to give it a 4/5, since its just so cheap. You get what you pay for, and I feel like I did (for the most part.)

Shows both inside and outside temperatures.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have used this type of thermometer for years. I like knowing the inside and outside temperatures in various locations in my home. So IÂ like this, the only thing missing from this brand compared to the other brand I’ve bought in the past is it doesn’t have a backlight, I have to turn on a light to view it. But that’s all, I like it.

Difficult to keep set the way I want
Mostly works but keeps switching to centigrade which doesn’t mean a lot to me. I have trouble getting it to switch to Fahrenheit.  When I get it set on the measurement that I understand it appears to be accruate Â

Works better than it should
I saw mixed reviews. Mine is a 5 star. I bought another. My kitchen one blew off the window sill, landed in a pot full of water that I had soaking in the sink. I don’t know how long it was there, it had no display. I pulled the battery, let it dry for a few days, put the battery back in, it was fine. Then, a few weeks later, it happened again. Same process, and it worked. Now it is mounted to the wall. Five stars for working better than it should have and recovering from two submersions.

I like this thermometer. It is accurate when compared to others in the house, the numbers are a good size, price excellent. It doesn’t have a light, which I miss (I sometimes look at the temp. in the night, and I’m up early). For the price I am ok with this, I have a little flashlight beside it.

We bought this for the camper because some times we want the know the temperature inside the camper or outside. We installed it last weekend when we went camping and it works great and it is nice to know how cool it is outside in the morning. It was a great buy for the price.

Installed in a 2009 Honda Crv since the vehicle waa made without temperature display/sensor. So far it works well and responds to the temperature change both outside of vehicle as I live in Canada and need it for the cold times. The wire was long & allowed for easy running and installation without worry of damage to the wire.Only this is that it does not have a display light.
