Best Tiktok Recommendation of 2021
I, like most of us, saw this product on TikTok by a user that swore by this product. I decided to buy it and give it a try to see for myself if it was all that she had cracked it up to be. I read all of the reviews before purchasing, and decided to take all of the negative reviews with a grain of salt. I let my leg hair, armpit hair, and pubic hair grow out to about an 1/8â before trying. (had to do a triple whammy, all or nothing right?) WELL. I honestly give this product an 8.5/10. A lot of reviews I saw had complaints about mixing and the smell, I will admit that the powder does take a while to actually mix into the water, but if you follow the instructions it really isnât that hard to get the correct consistency. I did this in a bathroom with an open window because the girl on TikTok recommended to do it in a well ventilated place due to the smell. The smell really isnât that bad. It has a subtle chemical aroma, but NOTHING compared to Nair. Itâs truly very subtle and not very bothersome. As for the consistency, itâs creamy and honestly pretty easy to apply. It goes on like lotion in a sense, but I did notice that you have to apply it kind of thick to reduce the dry-out of the product as it is sitting on your skin. I am fair in complexion with fairly irritable skin, and I have eczema. I left the product on my legs for the recommended time because my leg hair is finer in texture, and itâs blonde. For my underarms and pubic area, I caked the product on a little thicker and left it on longer because the hair is more coarse. The only thing I really disliked about the product is that it gets flaky as it dries, and it has a bit of a messy application. I used a damp washcloth to wipe the product off, as directed, and it was a little streaky coming off. However, the hair definitely came off with it. I ended up spraying myself off in the shower after fully wiping the product off of my skin to make sure there wasnât any residue left behind. Let me just tell you how SOFT my skin was after drying off. The aloe and vitamin E do WONDERS for dry skin. My skin felt more moisturized and soft after use than it did before, and thatâs saying a lot coming from someone with eczema. I would say overall that 98% of the hair was actually removed, and the 2% left over was in the areas with coarser hair. For the cost of the product, it is absolutely something that I will continue to buy and use. No razor burn, no chemical burn, a literal Brazilian wax in a can. I am happy with the results.

It’s Worth the Smell!
I am a 50-something-year-old woman who saw a Tiktok about a woman who used shaving powder for her legs and she raved about it. I’d never heard of shaving powder for men and immediately ordered it. I have difficulty bending and shaving my legs had become almost impossible but I’m not so old that I’m ready to live with hairy legs either. I had doubts about this product though. Nair has never worked on me at all. Not even a little so I was skeptical about shaving powder. I also have very sensitive skin so I worried about it burning or causing skin irritation. I mixed it up and used a hair dye brush to paint it on my legs and busied myself getting ready for a shower while I waited. I have to say, the smell is just awful. I mean really bad. It smelled like Nair when it first came out when I was a kid before they tried to camouflage the smell with a perfumey scent. But it was totally worth it. I got in the shower after 7 minutes and used a body brush and the shower to get it all off. Later, I felt my legs and couldn’t believe how perfectly smooth and soft they were! Every single hair was gone, my skin was so soft, and it never burned at all or caused any skin irritation. I heard angels singing! So next time I tried it on the fuzz women get on their faces due to hormones. Yep, worked perfectly there too. After all, it is for men’s beards. But the best part was that I did it 2 months ago and my legs are still smooth and hair-free! 2 months! This is an amazing product that is half the cost of Nair (which doesn’t work) and the results last forever…at least on me. Why wouldn’t you want to buy this product?

Very effective but smells so bad
The extra strength is very effective on my body hair. I am an AfroLatino man and my hair texture is moderately coarse. I have mixed feelings about this product. It really does do a great job at removing hair. I used it on my thighs, butt, balls and lower legs. I mixed it and left it on for a minimum of 7 minutes and honestly, Iâd say 90% of my body hair was gone and I was very smooth. Remember to wipe away with a wash cloth. I found this to be most effective.I do recommend against leaving it on your balls for greater than 4 minutes. It started to burn my balls by the 5 minute mark but it didnât burn or irritate my skin anywhere else.The worst thing about this product is the smell. It creates a very strong odd chemical-like smell. I even opened the window when I applied it and it still created a strong smell that permeated throughout my apartment. The smell lingers in the apartment for at least 2 days. The smell isnât a pleasant one either. Because of that I hate using the product. But Iâll continue to use it since it does a good job at hair removal. Maybe they can modify the fragrance without compromising the strength??

So many products are afraid of hurting you and hold you hand. Magic Shave demands your respect: it smells terrible, and will burn you if you look at it funny. In return, it offers outstanding body hair removal.Use a timer, set it for 7 Minutes, and have the shower ready. A plastic kitchen scraper works well for removal. Follow up with some Aloe gel to soothe your skin.I use it to remove most hair below my neck. Being somewhat viscous, it clings and will remove hair no matter the angle or length.Don’t bother with the cream version, though. It’s too weak.
