Classic Movie! Well Worth It!
Finally! Part 2 on blu-ray again… and it’s fabulous! Despite some negative reviews out there concerning this release, I’m here to tell you that the transfer looks great and the audio is great as well. The “grain” some people are complaining about is very minimal and what’s to be expected of movies made with actual film, especially older movies. For true collectors, this grain element is not only expected but highly desired. It’s a hallmark of genuine filmmaking and representative of the way filmmakers intended for the film to be seen. It adds a gritty realness to the story.This release is bare-bones in terms of extras, but well worth the money if you’ve been waiting to round out your Sleepaway Camp trilogy on blu-ray. I highly recommend this release. Order with confidence.

Great picture quality, generic cover art
This is no Shout release but it has that crisp clear bluray picture quality. You have to get what you can since the Shout release is oop and over $100. Sandpiper did a good job with this but lacks bonus material I like to see in a new drop of an old flick. Cover art looks so cheap and generic to me, but it is what it is. Happy to finally have this in my collection with the other two.

Finally re-released on blu ray
I am so happy that this, and part 3, were finally released on blu ray again. While I’m not the biggest fan of the art work, I prefer the original, I can not complain about finally owning this masterpiece on blu ray. It looks absolutely amazing and comes with director and writer commentary as well as English sub titles and the theatrical trailer.

ABOUT TIME!!!
The price of this movie was insane for a long time. I didn’t buy the Shout Factory version when it was released, and for years, that copy would have cost you a couple of hundred dollars easily. I was thrilled to see this new version appear for under $20. I’ve seen some people complain about the lack of special features, but I couldn’t care less. I’m just happy to have this movie on Blu-ray in HD. I’d bought all three movies on digital and have lost both this one and the third due to digital rights changes. Buy this as soon as you can because who knows how long this one will stay available. The last time this movie stayed out of print for years. BUY IT!!!!

Sleepaway Camp II back in print!
I used to have the DVD set with the first three Sleepaway Camp movies on it. This one is my favorite of the 3! I won a copy of SC3 on Blu-ray but was unable to get the BR of my favorite because of the OOP prices. This doesn’t have the special features of the OOP BR, but that’s okay, it doesn’t have the unbelievable price either! I’m happy with this!
