I changed my mind!
I have purchased this sunscreen 6 or 7 times now in the last year.Full disclosure, I did NOT like it the first few times I tried it. After a month or so, I totally changed my mind though. It blends in well, doesn’t pill, and protects my skin well. I love the consistency of it as it isn’t thick but also isn’t runny.I have fair skin so it does work well with my skin tone. I do not wear full makeup ever so I cannot speak for it working with makeup. I usually apply the sunscreen then a little concealer under my eyes and I’m good to go. My face has a delightful glow too…not a greasy look.One reason I find myself going to this brand is the lack of fragrance and unnecessary ingredients in their products. Price point is great for me too. Prequel is a brand I trust. I’ve purchased: gleanser (X2), sa gleanser, half and half, the balm, the gel, hypochlorous spray (X2), the peel, the hand wrap (x5)…love em all!

amazing spreadability & no white cast. it has a pearl tint which probably cancels out white cast. for the price point, amount you get, & quality itâs a 5/5!

I like this product very much
This is a light but duty sunscreen. It goes on easy and because of the very light skin tint it doesnât read white ghost. Seems to stay on for hours and protect the skin- even when outside all day in the sun. I like it.

Solid sunscreen but not for oily skin
This mineral sunscreen has surprisingly little cast, and I only noticed a slight one on my fair skin for the first couple of minutes. Unlike my tinted moisturizer’s light bronze tone (Cetaphil’s spf40 Redness Relieving Daily Facial Moisturizer), the iron oxides only show up as a very light pink so this doesn’t cover up anything or work as a foundation alternative. It has a lotion-like consistency and goes on smoothly and leaves the skin with a glow but also feels a touch oily. If I apply first and wait at least 30-60 minutes, I can apply a second layer of tinted moisturizer or foundation without much oiliness but if I apply Prequel as the second layer, it will feel surprisingly oily hours later. So I don’t recommend this if you have oily skin. On the plus side, it did NOT in any way irritate my sensitive rosacea-prone skin. I find it a bit pricey: $20+ for 1.7 oz. but if your budget is larger, it’s a solid sunscreen.

Sunscreen that goes on smoothly
This sunscreen is excellent! It is so lightweight and goes on so smoothly. It doesnât leave a white cast and penetrates skin without any sticky residue.

Skin felt dry, not adequate sun protection
I used this for the first time today and went to the river for about an hour and a half on a cloudy day and my face is burned (i wore a hat and did not put my face in the water). That has never happened with a zinc sunscreen thats spf 50. Also, thought this would be hydrating and it was when first applied but by the end of the day, skin had that zinc-dry feeling.

My new must-have!
This is the best! I recently tried this sunscreen for the first time for my lake trip, knowing Iâd be on a boat all weekend. Iâve battled skin cancer for nearly 20 years, so I made the switch to mineral sunscreen to avoid harmful ingredients, which is counterproductive to put on the skin. This productâs packaging is aesthetic, and I liked the consistency as well. The coverage was great! I was on a boat for HOURS and did NOT burn (even though I sat in the shade as much as possible, there were extended periods where I was directly in the sun and/or still somewhat exposed while in the shade.) Reapplying is helpful, too. I would definitely purchase this again.

Excellent Sunscreen for Face
This stuff is beautiful goes on very well and a nice finish to your skin, but not at all like a tinted make up would be. Itâs very very light. Wonderful mineral sunscreen which is ideal, 18% zinc oxide, and bioactive antioxidant compounds. 50 SPF broad-spectrum.
