Game changer for dry skin!
Iâve tried a lot of body washes over the years, but this SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter one actually lives up to the hype. My skin tends to get super dry, especially after showering, but this leaves it feeling soft, moisturized, and not tight at all. In the winter this has been a game changer for my dry, itchy legs. It has a rich, creamy texture and lathers really well without stripping my skin. The scent is warm and comfortingâkind of like a cozy spa day in a bottle.Iâve even skipped lotion a few times after using this (which NEVER happens for me), and my skin still felt hydrated all day. If you have dry or dull skin and want something gentle but super nourishing, definitely give this a try. Iâm a repeat buyer on this item!

My Favorite Body Wash â Hydrated Skin for Days!
This is hands down one of the best body washes Iâve ever used. The scent is light and refreshingânot overpoweringâand it lathers up beautifully. A little bit goes a long way, and it spreads easily over the skin. What really sets it apart is how hydrating it is. My skin feels soft, moisturized, and nourished right after I showerâand it still feels that way the next day. Iâve never had a body wash make my skin feel this healthy and smooth. Iâll always keep a bottle of this in my showerâforever a staple!

Great body wash
Leaves you feeling clean and a slight wonderful scent on your skin. Thicker than most body washes. Seems to make the skin softer too

Nice product
Smells good and I can feel the grains in it. In my opinion the smell doesnât last long. I still like the product. Love the look and appearance of the bottle. I guess Iâm clean and it does what I needs to do. Wish the smell lasted longer.

Soft Skin,
Love this stuff! I knew shea butter is the way to go for my skin, but it took me a while to finally bite on a product. I’m glad I went with this one.My skin is very sensitive and easily damaged due to a connective tissue condition, but this soap maintains it so well. It cuts oil without drying out my skin, while also not making it too oily (which I find with coconut oil). It works perfectly for me!

Excellent wash for my whole family!
My family and I love the scent and moisturizing power of this shower gel. We couple it with the bar soap and we all LOVE it. There is never any residue or stickiness – just clean, moisturized skin!

All improvements aren’t good improvements
I’ve been using this body wash for several years and always had great things to say about it, I’ve even recommended it a few times. The improvements to packaging and design has made this pretty bad now. The packaging no longer says Fair trade for starters, the cap is hard to open and since the product is now thicker, it’s harder to get out the bottle unless you shake it several times really hard. Going back to the changes to the product itself, the new smell of this is really really bad, and doesn’t in any way align with what it used to smell like. The product does not lather anymore and just kind of acts as a lotion that you smear all over your body. Don’t get me wrong product does hydrate your skin but it’s very very thick and it’s probably going to do some damage to your home plumbing like most shea moisture products usually do to mine. I hope these changes and improvements don’t come to other math products in their line

I like it. Mix with Castile soap if you want more lather.
Back in the day, I used to use the original Shea Moisture frankincense and myrrh body wash. Then they watered it down like most of their body washes, and so I stopped. Decided to try this new one, despite the bad reviews. I actually really like it. I can kind of see what people say about the scent, almost like cough syrup, when I smell it in the bottle. But as soon as I apply it, that goes away for me and I do smell some spiciness, which is what we all liked with the old formulas. Itâs not as great, but I enjoy it and it doesnât put me off at all. I donât like floral smells, I like herb and more exotic smells, so Iâm not sure why some people are getting a floral scent. But I guess everyoneâs noses are different. It is very thick, and even though it may not feel like itâs all rinsed off, once I dry off I feel clean and extremely soft. What I do when I want some lather is I combine it with unscented Castile soap- not in the bottle or anything, I just put a small squeeze of each in my hand and it turns into a great lather thatâs still moisturizing. Also works great for shaving on its own.Iâm not at all happy that it doesnât have the cruelty free bunny label. Iâm waiting to see if that changes. Itâs definitely one change Iâm not happy about with Unilever, I mean in 2025? Come on guys.
