Great product, horrible pump
This is a really great gel for creating lasting volume. But I had so much trouble unlocking the pump mechanism that I finally gave up and used the gel directly from the bottle. I was determined to get it unlocked so it was ready for the next time so I tried again after I was finished drying my hair. It took an insane amount of effort to get the pump top to unlock and spring up. The pump issue is preventing me from giving the product 5 stars.

Works well for thin hair
Love this stuff. I finally found something that works for my thin frizzy hair. It doesn’t make it sticky at all but gives it hold all day.

Works on my fine, short hair!
Used it for the first time today. Keep in mind my hair is short, fine and thin. When wet it parts in the middle and flops on my head. No Body, NO shape, just straight. I thought the gel would be heavy but nope. I used the mousse for a while and liked that was well. However, I don’t recall being happy with it when my hair got longer. Right now with my short hair it gets 5 starts from me!

Not as good as root pump plus
Like others said, did not leave hair crunchy which was good. There was some volume on its own, but did not last more than a day or so. Tried again with the root pump plus and I feel like it weighed hair down. I ended up returning and will stick to the root pump plus
