I was scared when they changed the formula for the old Sally Hanson face remover cream because Iâve been using it for years pretty frequently battling my PCOS facial hair. Happy to report that even though this formula is different, itâs even stronger. I used to have to put the other formula on for 15 minutes and would still feel no burn with only half my hair removed – I had to shave the rest. Now I use this new one for 10 minutes and although the burning starts at around 8-9 minutes, I know itâs working, and it removes almost 90% of my facial hair now which is such a huge improvement compared to before. Disclaimer: I do not have sensitive skin and my hair is thick, coarse and dark. I would recommend starting off with 5-6 minutes for those of you with lighter hair, which isnât as hard to remove, or sensitive skin. I never use the after cream, but this one is nicer than the other one although the cent is very strong.

I am one of those whose facial skin/hair type does not respond well to this product. Per the instructions, I placed on my chin for 5 minutes and wiped off. There was no hair on my towel but also no irritation. The next day, I left on for 8 minutes then removed. There was *some* hair removal but also slight inflammation, soreness, and redness. I did a swatch test prior to initial use and I did not experience this reaction. I will not be using this product again. The included aftercare lotion is soothing and pleasant smelling.

Just OK. I was sick of going to an electrolysis for just peach fuss so after over 10 yrs of not using this I thought I’d give it a try. The formula seems a bit different. You have to put more on. Not a great smell but the moisturizer that you put on after sorta masks the smell. It seems like I’m getting peach fuzz faster with this then just tweezing or going to the electrolysis but maybe I’m wrong. I just know it saves me money cause going to them costs way more than it used to.

Doesn’t work for me
I’m giving two stars because it didn’t burn or smell terrible. I left this stuff on for 8 minutes and it barely removed any hairs. Disappointed

Best facial hair removal cream. I have tried numerous brands and this is the only one to remove the hair on my upper lip on the first try. Took all the facial hair off easily. Much better smell then other brands as well. No burns or redness. This will be my go to from now on.
