Does NOT taste awful!
I’m seeing a lot of reviews where people were talking about this tasting strong or bad. This does NOT taste strong at ALL! However, it does SMELL SUPER strong. The trick to taking this is just like it used to be in the olden days when our grandparents and parents took cod liver oil every single day. HOLD YOUR NOSE! When you are smelling something while also eating it, you’re olfactory organs work with your brain to make it taste stronger as well. Without the sense of smell, you actually can’t taste things as well. But it can also affect them oppositely, that if something has a really strong smell, but a mild taste… If you are breathing in that smell while eating it, then it will taste much worse than the actual flavor. I hope that makes sense. Anyway, if you pinch your nose while taking this, the flavor is SUPER mild! I’m a pretty easy gagger when it comes to tastes, and was sure I would gag after smelling this. Because the smell made me gag horribly. I knew to hold my nose when something smells like that naturally. So I pinched my nose and took my first dose and was shocked at how mild it was. Didn’t gag whatsoever! It is definitely fishy, but it is not a flavor that should make you gag. I don’t even like fishy tastes and the only fish I really enjoy is salmon since it really doesn’t taste like fish. But anyway, just picture nose and take it and you will be fine! I should also note that for the same price, the capsules that you can get, have less than half the amount of vitamin A and nutrition and then that one dose of this has. So while you are technically getting 30 adult doses for the capsules and this bottle, the capsules only give you the equivalent of a little less than half of the nutrition that one dose of this gives. So, if you are doing great on the capsules right now and you don’t want any more vitamin A than what you’re already getting, then just buy this and take a half teaspoon and you will be getting slightly more than what you’re getting right now with the three capsules that is one dose. And it will last you twice as long. So you’re saving half. I personally need the vitamin A so I’m taking the whole dose. I hope this review is beneficial and helps people when it comes to the taste and any reservations you might have. Also maybe to help some people save some money versus the capsules. Please don’t be afraid to try this! Also please know that you do have to refrigerate this after opening! This is not something you can just keep on your counter. It’s going to be cloudy after being refrigerated. It says that on the bottle. If you keep it sitting out, it WILL go rancid. Don’t be afraid to try this and this is truly the best way you could get your cod liver oil! My hair has grown in thicker, my skin is looking better than it ever has at almost 40, my digestion is better, etc. Just get it and don’t be afraid of gagging! Just hold your nose!

This Stuff is AMAZING QUALITY!!!
This lasted me 34 days, measuring each day & taking as directed. I’d previously been taking the Carlson Super 1,000mg CLO & had my eye on this Rosita for a while. It’s definitely Kinda Pricey, so it was hard to pull the trigger at first…but absolutely fantastic quality! The first day taste was a bit strong, & like others have mentioned you can taste it later on if you burb…lol I actually started to look forward to taking it each day though. I now take it with my chocolate almond milk, banana walnut smoothie I make with a few other healthy ingredients. I take a drink of my smoothie right before I pour a teaspoon of this Rosita Cod Liver Oil and drink it right from the measuring spoon, then I promptly take another drink of my smoothie… The salty/chocolatey taste from my smoothie combines very well for me with the oil. The combination of these flavors is very good! Give it a try, its awesome & makes taking it much more tolerable!!! Also, you start to get used to the taste after about a week.I highly recommend this, just wish it wasn’t so expensive, but isn’t everything these days!!! lol

It doesn’t taste that bad. Don’t be a baby.
It doesn’t taste as bad as some of the comments led me to believe. It does repeat on you, so that’s not exactly the most pleasant thing, but all fish oil supplements do that. I assume the quality is good, but I do have one concern. The packaging does say that it should be stored in a refrigerator, but it didn’t arrive packed in ice and that made me wonder how long it’s been sitting in an Amazon warehouse before it shipped. I have not had time to evaluate whether or not this product has improved my health and I have no way to evaluate the quality in comparison to other similar products. I’m kind of just hoping it’s the best, being as it’s the most expensive. Mainly, I wanted you not to be frightened off by the taste. It tastes like fish oil. You’ll survive. It’s not a pleasant taste, but it’s not nearly revolting enough to make your decision to purchase based on that. One star off for being so expensive, but if this is a you get what you pay for situation, then I’m happy to pay a high price for a quality product.

Good quality
This is good stuff but hard to swallow. You just Gotta shove it in there and swallow it down and wash it down with something.

Hives/Skin rashes/Headaches
Please stay away from this. I have been buying Nordic fish oil for so long and my family eats fish all the time with no issues. I came across this and wanted to know why all the good reviews. I received this ROSITA COD LIVER OIL and when i opened it, there was no seal. That should have been a red flag but as curious as I am, i took my first dose. The taste was fishy but i still did not mind. I developed a rash that looks like hives after drinking this. My partner wanted to proof to me that it might not be from the oil. He also took it and he woke up this morning with severe headache and an ezcema flare up. I tried calling customer services Yesterday but they are not open on weekends. Curiousity they say kills the cat. I should have stayed with my nordic products. Lesson learnt the hard way.$70 gone down the drain.

Iâve taken cod liver oil from Carlson for many years. I switched over to this brand because of the purity. I read several comments about the taste.Well, guess what? This tastes exactly like salmon. End of story. It is a delicious flavor for me because I love salmon!Have a healthy, happy day peeps!!

I find it’s a clean, fresh taste. Some things are worth buying and this produce is one of them. Not all codliver oils are equal not all olive oils are equal and not all ghee is equal buy the best. Treat your body like the temple it is no synthetic vitamins added. No adulteration, pure and simple as nature intended the only cod liver oil I recommend and use I’m sure it’ll become a staple in your cupboard as well

i am using it for dry eyes. it seem to help as i no longer need to use eye lubricants. The packaging of the product was really good. They made sure that it is packed in heat resistant bag ( made of wool ) before putting it in another bubble wrapper and then inside another heat resistant postal bag. Cord liver oil can get rancid very quickly if not transported properly. This is one of the best packaging methods i have seen by seller to ensure that product remains uncompromised. Its worth the money they charge for shipping

Mild fresh taste of fish ,, well packaged,if the company is honest in its product description its truly the best , i do recommend this but personally , don’t let the price put U of , if ur not concerned about price then definitely buy its a great natural product, all the other highly processed and refined cod liver oils / fish oils are like what margarine is to organic raw grass fed butter buy the butter guys avoid the margarine alternatives

It’s a cold pressed oil which should be kept cool to maintain quality. But during delivery it gets very hot and that’s a big negligence on amazon’s behalf. We are paying to get the freshest thing. But little negligence deteriorated the product quality.

Seems high quality. Wife commented my skin had been looking good out of blue after taking for a couple months so this may have had something to do with it
