Amazing Tonic!
This is a great addition to your hair care products!Light viscosity and glides into hair. Apply to damp hair and blow dry for extra volume and control before applying your pomades or styling creams. This can also be used by itself (especially if you already have thick hair) if you don’t like to cake product into your hair. It will add a light hold and control frizzies. I’ve always had fine straight hair so I use this as a base when I get out of the shower. I use this product along with quite a few of their water-based pomades and I absolutely love it! I also love the aesthetic that they are going for; that classic Barber shop feel. I’m not too crazy about the smell, but it’s not offensive either. The fragrance does not give me that classic Barber shop smell. I think of barbershops and I think of the smell of talc or a soft mature man’s cologne or aftershave. This smells like a fruit scent car-freshener. It’s not offensive and it doesn’t stink. It still smells clean, but by no means gives me that barber shop fragrance. And the fragrance dissipates after a short while anyway so I guess it doesn’t matter too much. Amazing product!

Great Feel, Hold, Smell and Quality!
Reuzel is an inexpensive grooming tonic that will last a long time. Only a small amount (a quarter size) in your palm rubbed together will be enough for most men to hold their flyaway hairs in place. The smell is a nice and subtle musk that goes away in about an hour so there is no smell on your pillow. It will hold almost any kind of hair and gives your hair a healthy look without being shiny. If you want a really strong hold, simply apply more product, but so little is necessary.I have short grey hair so it is perfect for me and I can use a brush or comb to style. Later in the day if you want to restyle, simply wet your hair slightly again and restyle. This bottle is a bargain and it is a great product.

It works for curly thick hair
At first I didn’t like the smell but over time it grew on me. It is earthy and woodsy I guess. It does have have an alcohol smell like others. I have rough thick hair and this works best out of several hair tonics I’ve tried.This leaves a slight oily residue but that is good for me because it keeps my rough hair from drying out all day. If I do not use pomade or tonic, my hair can get very frizzy and messy.I have has the 11 oz bottle for about 6 months and have used nearly half of it. I use it almost every morning. I think it’s reasonably priced and it’s the best tonic I’ve used, especially considering my hair needs something to keep it tame.

A lot of complaints about the smell and while it isnât the most pleasant; it not as bad as a lot of people make it seem. The smell goes away quickly too, my wife had noticed the smell in my hair after applying. If youâre sensitive to strong smells, youâre gonna want to avoid this.Now does it work; sure does and it works great. Gave my hair the wet look that I wanted. How wet you want your hair to look depends on how much water you use to dampen your hair. It handles sweat and wearing a hard hat for 8 hours but itâll lose the wet look and turn into a messy hair kinda look.Overall I would buy it again but would hope for a version with a better smell. Iâm the mean time Iâll just wonât over do it with just using a handful and applying cologne or aftershave when I walk out the door.

Pleasant smell, holds well without feeling stiff or sticky.
Iâve been using this for a while. I have short hair but can be wavy. This helps tame it and has enough hold not to feel sticky or stiff. I like the smell too! Very pleasant. I damp my hair in the middle of the day to do a quick grooming.

Works Great
This was recommended by my son’s barber. I put a nickel size amount in my hand and put it in his hair while wet. Then I blow dried his hair with a brush. This product added great texture to the hair and made it very easy to sculpt with a clay after it was dry. We love this. The smell is nice too. Very masculine. Love it.

a little bit of shine and a decent hold with the scent of apples.
I got this because I just got a Pompadour style haircut, and it does exactly what I wanted it to. it smells of apples and it provides extra hold and adds just a bit of shine to the hair.when I used a water based palmade alone my hair would dry out and come apart during the day and I’d have to restyle it but with this product I style once, and it keeps it looking good the entire day.I got the big bottle but it comes out by the drop so any size bottle will last a while. I like this stuff and will probably buy it again if I do end up using it all.

J’ai attendu 2 semaines d’utilisation avant d’écrire cet avis. Et je peux affirmer son efficacité.à l’ouverture on sent un produit gras en main, ne tâchant pas les cheveux malgré tout, une odeur très boisée en ressort, c’est très typé masculin, mais cela fait de très belles choses sur les cheveux de madame également.Sous les conseils de mon coiffeur, j’applique le produit sur cheveux humide à la sortie de douche, je passe ensuite le sèche cheveux, avec l’aide d’un peigne large pour faire un balayage arrière. Malgré un cheveux épais et difficile à faire tenir, ils se placent facilement, sans jouer les rebelles. Une petite dose de laque derrière et ma coupe tient toute la journée.Un matin sans shampooing, sur cheveux sec, j’applique une noisette en main que je chauffe et étale sur le cheveux, un coup de sèche cheveux et ils se placent. Une belle alternative aux shampooing sec.Cela n’est pas fort efficace sur les épis que l’on a au réveilLe format 500 ML s’avère très économique, sur la photo de mon avis, le niveau n’a pas fort baissé malgré deux semaines d’utilisation quotidienne.Un produit que je recommande à toute personne aimant se coiffer et avoir une coupe ferme qui ne bouge pas.
