Its important to change brush-heads about every six months!
We love our Oral B electric toothbrushes. We switched to Oral B because the brand prio to these didnât seem to do a thorough brushing. These heads are dynamite in doing a great job, they are sturdy though remove easily for cleaning maintenance, and the bristles are firm and soft at the same time.I feel I personally get the best cleaning accomplished simply by holding the rotating brush in place on every surface side making brushing teeth more effective.I only gave four stars for Depth of Cleaning because I do prefer the Oral B brushes that have what I deem a built in flossing mid-inner edge which I havenât been able to fine. This type of brush came with our new set. I see my hubby hasnât used his yet so Iâm including a picture. There are four yellow flat flossers that have a blue band around each one. Because I mention this brush-head at this point does not indicate normal flossing is any less important. I would just like to be able to find this head on Amazon.

Excellent value
The original Oral B brushes have become outrageously expensive so I tried these generic ones and they are good, I may replace them more often but it wonât be too costly. Be warned though, the small rotating head has caught my lips a few times, not too hard as to make a cut or being unbearably painful, it may be because its construction is a bit loose and not as tight as the original.

I needed to replace the heads on my Oral B toothbrush and went to purchase at my local Sam’s Club. The four pack was $40 and after paying over $100 for two full sets, I thought it was ridiculous. I checked Amazon and saw 10 brushes for a reasonable cost and thought it was worth the risk. I lucked out and it worked! The replacement brushes fit perfect and work just as well as Oral B. For a small investment, we are set for a while.

Cheap but effective alternatives
Regular Oral B brand brush heads are freaking expensive. Yes, these are way cheaper, but honestly theyâre not at all bad quality, and I love the fact that there are different kinds of heads instead of all just one style. So far theyâre working fine and fit perfectly on my Oral B 1000. Highly recommend!

These rotate UNTIL they don’t
Updating my review. Okay, so these are okay. I like them but I just feel like they wear out quickly. I am not sure how often or how long they should last as the books says replace when the blue bristle heads turn white. I haven’t really looked out for that. I just know that when they are done, they are done. It lasts for a few months before it’s time to replace the head. And then it’s better meaning I feel like I am getting a better clean due to a better spin on the brush. When it gets old, it just stops spinning as soon as it makes contact. My 2 cents. I will likely try another brand the next time I purchase replacement heads.
