Very efficient steamer for the value!
I purchased this little steamer to use for my senior chihuahuaâs respiratory problems. She was suffering from congestion so the fine mist steam was perfect to help clear her stuffiness. The steam does get hot so I was careful to keep my dog at a safe distance from the heat. The steamer is very easy to use and gives about 5-8 minutes of steam in one use but the top âcapâ doesnât lock in place so you have to be careful otherwise Iâm very satisfied with my purchase.

Puts off a nice amount of steam, I have liked the results too. It is lightweight and you can add essential oils which is nice. The only problem I have is that it will sometimes spit water out and it’s hot. I always make sure it has the appropriate amount of water so I’m not sure if it’s a defect or operator error. It’s just a fill and turn on, so I don’t think there’s anything you could do wrong. I think for the price, it’s a good buy.

Functions but doesnât âworkâ
I had a face steamer years ago and absolutely loved it. Iâve been looking at getting a new one and thought this looked small, modern, and streamlined. I didnât hesitate based on cost and reviews.It functions but it doesnât hold a lot of water. The steam comes out through a small opening at the top and goes in whatever direction the wind is blowing. By the time you get steam in your whole face, areas have cooled off and dried. I wanted the feel of my face being in a steam room, not the feel I get when steaming my clothes.I wish I would have bought one like the old one, which has a large conical top that directs the steam up so your entire face gets steam at the same time and pores are ready for the next step.

Do not buy this!!!
I got this item today and was so excited to try it.I plugged it in and the on/ off switch didnât work.Confused, I was reading over the instructions.The switch was in the off position and maybe plugged in the wall for 5 minutes while I was reading.Thinking I had a defective item I grabbed the base of the steamer to steadily unplug from the wall and it BURNED me! I have blisters on my finger tips just from touching the outer plastic while it was supposed to be TURNED OFF!!!Needless to say I am returning this item asap and will not order from this company again.There is no reason plastic should get hot enough to burn your hands especially when itâs supposed to be off!
