High quality, effective, pure, helps with C. diff
Pure encapsulations are just that: pure. So glad we found this line of products. My daughter and I have the MTHFR mutation, plus celiac and food allergies that include corn and soy. Our ingredient limitations mean it can be hard to find supplements and we really need probiotics and methylated vitamins.My husband, who also has some food allergies, got c.diff. after multiple rounds of strong antibiotics. The Pure Encapsulations probiotics plus a Solgar probiotic (listed below) are really helping. We intend to push probiotics heavily to lower the chance of c.diff. recurrence. (We also add in some homemade fermented foods, such as sauerkraut.)We use Pure Encapsulations for methyfolate, methylcobalamin, and multiple probiotics. No adverse reactions at all! Absolutely fantastic!For fighting C. diff:While 40 days of Flagyl beat back the original C. diff, it threatened to return, and only massive amounts of probiotics drove it away completely and has kept it away. Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG and Saccharomyces boulardii are the two major probiotics proven scientifically to fight Clostridium difficile (C.diff) specifically.Advanced Multi-Billion Dophilus from Solgar is a must. Best Probiotic Iâve Tried â Worth the Investment!
Iâve been consistently taking probiotics from various brands for the past two years, and this one has made the biggest difference in my digestion. Iâve noticed real improvement since switching to it. While it is on the pricier side, itâs absolutely worth the investment for the results.

Good probiotics, reasonable price.
I don’t take probiotics all the time – I felt like I don’t need to take them constantly, and a doctor I see (who practices functional medicine) told me that I don’t need to take probiotics all the time. It’s important to eat well – plenty of vegetables and other forms of fiber and not much junk food – to keep your digestive system healthy. In other words, probiotics can do only so much if a person isn’t eating well.But I buy a couple of different bottles (chosen from brands that have a good reputation) about once a year or so. Also, I have a colonoscopy every five years because of my family history, and I always take a bottle of this brand and another brand (that has some difference bacteria) after each colonoscopy. I had just finished taking a bottle of this and another brand after my last colonoscopy, when I caught a severe case of gastroenteritis. Either it came too soon after the colonoscopy, or it was just a severe strain, but several weeks after being sick, I just couldn’t get back to normal. So I bought another bottle of this and a bottle of Solgar Advanced Multi-Billion Dophilus probiotics. Now, having finished both, I’m doing well again.

Former medical person and this is the best professional line available to the masses. I have been tested using these products and their purity is REAL. Not always inexpensive, but Pure as their name, equality these days is paramount to what you put in your mouth and body. Many friends who were not believers, take only this line of products and are finding great results as I did.

Amended Review_ New Insights on Delivery Process from Seller and Manufacturer
I had never written a negative review on a product until earlier this week, when I had previously posted 2 stars for this item because of a perceived quality issue due to delivery. Specifically, I was unclear if the product quality was compromised, as it arrived warm (& enclosed Nordic cooling pack was warm/appeared to not be functioning). When I tried to present my concern to the seller via the Amazon customer feedback portal, the system threw me in a “loop”, if you will, and I could not reach them directly, so I posted my concerns in the review. The seller (Pattern) reached out within 24 hours of this post to share helpful information regarding the delivery/packaging process as per the manufacturer (Pure). Based on this information, I am assured the product quality was NOT compromised. I appreciate Pattern going above & beyond to address my concerns, which included providing key product information from the manufacturer, as well as contact information to manufacturer should I have additional questions. I was thrilled because my experience with Pure products has been wonderful and I didn’t want to change probiotics because of delivery concerns. That said, highly rate both the product and the seller. Highly recommend. Have been using Pure Probiotic and Pro Zinc-L-Carnosine supplements for silent reflux and both have been very helpful.
