The shaving cream that corrects all your bad shaving choices
My review will be of interest to you if one of the following is true:* You’re bald* Shaving causes your skin to bruise or burn* You have ingrown hairs on your face or head* You are African-American or some other course hair typeI have a goatee and a bald head. Finding the right shaving cream and razor is extremely important. Unfortunately, doing so can be a life journey! lolI recently found myself in a Art of Shaving, buying a new traditional safety razor (which by the way, was one of the best decisions of my life!) but I couldn’t justify the prices they charge for their shaving creams. I’ve found all those pseudo-luxury brands from Target’s and similar stores to be terrible. They smell great, but they don’t condition the face or scalp hairs. Which means the shave can hurt, leave bruises or cuts and makes you go through razors quicker.Prorsaso answers this issues. It lathers perfectly, quickly softens and conditions the hair and offers a very close shave – when paired with the right razor.Close shaves can create more problems for those of us with sensitive skin or ingrown hairs (especially on your head!). I have found that shaving with Proraso that in less than 4 shaves, you will find ingrown hairs are noticeably lessened, and there is virtually no bruising shortly after your shave. If you have course or curly hair, or you’re African-American, this will be a relief. As certain hair types are just harder to cut without the proper shaving cream. The easiest way to determine if this shaving cream offers you a closer shave without irritating your skin is to use your old cream, shave and apply alcohol to your shave area afterwards (like a barber would). Do the same with Proraso and gauge which experience stings more. I guarantee you that Proraso is going to sting less and have you feeling more confident about your appearance.I can’t say how easier it is to shave my head using Proraso. Less irritation. Less leftover hair. Less ingrown hairs. Again, remember I am coupling this shaving cream with a traditional safety razor. I think that is important to note.Proraso smells “unique”. In a really great way. It a scent I’ve never known and I enjoy it quick a bit. It blends well with soaps, after shaves and colognes. It’s subtle and refreshing.My face and head look better after just a week or so of use. Remarkable.

Consistency of the cream was fine, not separated or runny.Used about an inch of cream in my palm, loaded onto the brush directly and it formed a nice lather. Nice smooth shave, no irritation and pleasant smell.I like the tube for travel, no bowl necessary.Would definitely buy again.

Love this product
I like this for shaving legs, underarms, and bikini area. It has some soft like beads that help exfoliate skin prior to shaving. Gentle on bikini area. This is probably primarily a manâs product so the smell is not feminine but I like the shave so itâs not a deal breaker for me.this company is out of Italy and has been in business for a long time and this product has been around the same. I trust products like that and thatâs why I decided to try it. My skin is sensitive and this product gave me a close shave with no irritation or dryness. I will be buying this product again. This product is easy to put in a TSA approved bottle for travel as well. A little goes a long way and you can control the consistency from cream to more soapy.I personally like the container it comes in. I usually use a bikini aftershave gel but with this product you can forego it with out any issues and with its ingredients that exfoliate just right you can forgo a prepping body scrub. Personally I like a product that streamlines the amount of products you have to use; it saves time and money and these days more than ever that is an important point for consumers and without sacrificing quality.

I use this cream when I don’t have time to use my brush and solid soap shaving cream.This seems to be the best of the tube type creams I have tried over the years. That said, I wish the quality were more consistent: Sometimes it is smooth textured and thick, but other times it is a bit gritty, like fine sand is mixed in. Once it was both – smooth at the start of the tube, and gritty/thick by the time I reached the bottom of the tube. And one time it was a bit runny through the entire tube.All of the different textures gave a decent shave, but it is disconcerting not knowing what is going to come out of the tube!This is the reason I usually use a brush and cake type shaving soap. With a brush, the lather is consistent.

Product as a product is great. But I ordered twice and twice I received pure water inside instead of cream. Just to mention that I ordered from Amazon Ireland. When I ordered from UK item was in a cream form has to be.So I think that is the problem how is stored in some warehouse in Ireland.Just wanted to mentioned because product is great but depends from you ordering.
