Felt results from the first time [Proactiv Smooth & Bright Resurfacing Vitamin C Face Mask 1.7 oz]
I have used glycolic acid formulations in the past and have always been very pleased with the results so thought I would give Proactivâs Smooth & Bright Resurfacing Vitamin C Face Mask a try. After I applied the scentless, thick, light brown goop that resembled semi crystallized honey, I could feel my skin tingling at the edges of my face. (My hubby applied some and felt it too.) After waiting 10 minutes, wiping it off and washing as directed, my skin did feel a little bit smoother and just a bit brighter. It didn’t dry me out. The couple of zits that I had might have already been in the process of fading (in my 40s, I get them maybe once a year), so unfortunately, I don’t know if it was a coincidence that one of them disappeared overnight. My skin went back to normal after a day or so. However, I hope that with more use, the tranexamic acid in the formula will also help with some of my age spots. I think $23.99 is a good value for this product since I didn’t need to use a lot since this spread so readily, and I could feel results from the first use.Note: Make sure not to wear light colored clothing while using this as it contains Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, which can stain.

So far so good
So I bought this because I suffer with hyperpigmentation and I also wanted to work on smoothing out the texture of my skin. I chose this because my skin has always responded well to proactive products. Although the jar is small a little goes a long way. So far I’ve used it about 5 times so time will tell with final results. I will also like to say that upon applying, it does have a slight warming and tingling sensation but believe me its bearable and I’m a person with extremely sensitive skin and it hasn’t bothered me.

Cautiously excited about this product!
The older I get, the more prominent my dark spots are becoming. I decided to give this a try, but did it after picking at my face….so the inflamed red spots on my face throughout the photos are unrelated to this product. However, I do think it’s effective and targets those dark spots and trouble areas. This isn’t a product that’s meant to moisturize, from what I gather, it’s meant to help lighten dark spots and trouble areas, which I feel it delivers on!

Good dark spot corrector from a trusted skin care brand. Over the last month of use I have noticed a nice brightening effect on a few spots I have had, with this being the phone product I used to treat them. They aren’t completely gone and I’m not sure continued use would make them fully go away, but so far I’ve been happy

Consistency was greasy and sticky. Like rubbing honey on my face. Seemed to work, but not enjoyable and didn’t have that fresh clean feeling you get from other masks

I didn’t love this face mask. The texture is very thick and gloopy, making it difficult to apply. I also found it hard to rinse off the skin. As far as results, it did leave my face feeling really clean which I liked. I also appreciated that it didn’t have a strong fragrance. The tub is very small and not the best value though. I think this is just okay and I would not buy again.
