Effective Hair Removal with Long-Lasting Results
The Philips Satinelle epilator works exceptionally well for removing even the shortest hairs. Itâs a bit uncomfortable at first, but much more effective and longer-lasting than shaving. The device is compact, easy to handle, and simple to clean. It leaves the skin smooth for weeks, and over time, Iâve noticed that hair grows back more slowly and finely. A great investment for anyone looking for a reliable at-home hair removal solution.

Good quality
Iâve had an older version from this brand that had lasted 7 years but it stopped working recently. When this arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well it worked. Itâs quick and efficient and pulls out hair very easily. Iâm very happy with the product and for the price, if it lasts several years, itâs great value.

Advice & Review Philipâs Epilator
Okay Iâm breaking this review into two parts, for those looking for advice read part one, for those looking for a product review read part two!Part One: It HURTS. I read the reviews and thought people were being dramatic, they are not⦠but they also arenât lying when they say it gets better. If you are planning on using this every where my biggest piece of advice is start with just the armpits, they hurt the worst so everywhere else feels like a breeze after. Take a HOT bath or shower before and exfoliate really well. Itâs best to use the first few times at night. If you are of age grab a glass of wine or two and make sure you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Go slowly and take your time. I find itâs easier to do in chunks, rather than strips like you would shaving. One thing I wish I had done looking back is taking it one area at a time; I full sent and did pretty much my whole body and was SO uncomfortable. While you are here also grab some witch hazel for after, you will need it. I like T.N. Dickinsonâs the most. ALSO if you are prone to hives/have eczema or other related issues BE CAREFUL, the first time I had a solid histamine reaction, if you have red bumps and swelling take a benadryl and give your body a break.Part Two: I am an epilator baby so this is the only product I have owned, but it gets the job done. I havenât had any major issues with it grabbing skin and itâs relatively comfortable to use. It is corded, but the cord is long and flexible. It has one head and cleaning tools included. It isnât the most ergonomic product out of what i have looked at, so if you have accessibility issues it might not be the easiest to use. My biggest complaint is that it is LOUD. I mean it makes my hair dryer seem quiet kind of loud, but other than that, solid product, arrived intact and havenât had any issues more than a month later!

I love it so much I bought a back-up
This thing works great and I can’t believe I spent most of my adult life shaving.PRO TIPS for the one-star reviewers:1) You HAVE to let your hair grow out enough for it pull it out.2) If it is not pulling from the root, move it up or down a setting – you must adjust to fit your hair length/softness or courseness.3) Once your hair is long enough – it IS going to hurt. And it will hurt bad. Sorry, that is just how it is. My first few times I took ice and would ice it as I was using the epilator. I am just a determined person like that, I knew once I did it a few times it would be easy-breezy, and I was right.4) You have to exfoliate your skin before using! I use a glove and just do a quick exfoliation when I am in the shower on the day I am going to use epilator. It helps those suckers come right on out of the pores. A nice lotion afterward and my skin feels like a baby – not kidding.5) I have been using mine for about 5 years and I feel nothing when I am using this thing. It actually feels good even. My hairs grow back baby-fine. So fine, in fact, they are blonde and you can’t even see them. Under my arms they really don’t even grow back now.6) One of the best things is you don’t have to pay $$$$ for someone else to remove the hair for you. No letting your hoo-ha hang out and be embarrassed to have it done. You don’t have to shell out money and you can do it yourself for free. Razors are crazy expensive! I have saved literally hundreds of dollars doing this myself. As the title of my review states, I have a couple extra actually. I do not want to be without one if/when the one I have poops out on me. Good luck and hang in there – you’ll love it.

Sometimes, less is more
I âdowngradedâ from my Braun 9 to this and Iâm so happy – this is faster, easier and way less painful! My first epilator was similar but Braun – I used it for more than 10 years – didnât even need to replace the head throughout that time. For just a bit over 3 years with my Braun 9 Iâve been so frustrated with the lack of contact between the tweezers and the skin and the amount of time it took to remove the hair because of the flexible movement in all directions; the charger and the inability to use it once charging had left me plenty of times in the middle waiting for it to get back to work; plus it was crazy painful, especially at the end.First time back to basics with this and I love it – the epilator is so light, I need a fraction of the time compared to my previous one, no pain whatsoever and the washable head makes it really easy to maintain it clean. The only minor inconvenience that I could possibly think of is how itâs going to work on 220v once traveling to Europe. But thatâs really minor and temporary! Iâm so happy I went with that – sometimes, the more sophisticated they make a product, the harder it is it use and enjoy it. Plus, itâs a fraction of the price of the new ones. I doubt that Iâll ever go back to a rechargeable one.

Honest review
Pros: it does work, cheaper than waxing or laser. Left skin soft and smooth.Cons: loud, not cordless, it is not painless bearable yes, but not painless, itâs not a one swipe. Because hair grows in multiple directions you have to swipe in multiple directions. There isnât anything to catch the hair, it just goes everywhere. Mine didnât come with a pouch as advertised. Shaving would be easier, it not a fast process. It does the job. Iâll keep because I used it and because who wants to shave every other day in the summer. Would I buy it again mehhhh I could take it or leave it
