âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ Best Probiotic for Picky Dogs â Vet-Approved Too!
I rarely write reviews, but I had to share how incredible Pair Pet has been for my dog. My girl is extremely picky â she usually sniffs her food and walks away unless itâs something she really loves. The first time I sprinkled Pair Pet on top of her meal, she ate every bite without hesitation! That alone was a win for us. Beyond her sudden enthusiasm at mealtime, Iâve noticed huge improvements in her digestion. She used to struggle with inconsistent bathroom habits, but since starting this probiotic, everything has been so much more regular and healthy. Her energy levels are better, her coat looks shinier, and she just seems more comfortable overall. Before giving it to her, I checked with our vet, and she was genuinely impressed. She told me this is one of the best probiotic products sheâs seen on the market in terms of both ingredients and formulation for all the animals listed. If your dog has a sensitive stomach, is picky with food, or just needs some digestive support, I canât recommend Pair Pet enough. Total game changer for us!Daisy approved!! ð¾

Pro supplement for my CHF kitty!
As someone who meticulously manages my cat’s health, particularly with a heart condition (CHF), I’m always looking for supplements that are both effective and easy to administer. This multi-species probiotic powder has been a valuable find. The powder form is a major plus. It’s easy to mix into wet food, and my cat, who is usually picky, eats it without any fuss. This is a huge relief when you’re already juggling multiple medications and supplements. The instructions are clear and the dosage is straightforward for a cat of her size, which simplifies the routine. What stands out is the ingredient list. It contains key probiotic strains like Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus acidophilus, along with inulin, a prebiotic that helps nourish the good bacteria. Knowing it’s made in the U.S. and vet-approved adds a layer of confidence in its quality.I’ve noticed a positive change in his digestion since starting this supplement. His appetite has been more consistent, and her overall digestive health seems to be on track. For a cat with complex health needs, a strong gut is crucial for nutrient absorption and overall well-being. This product seems to be helping with that.I appreciate that this is a multi-species formula, making it a versatile option for other pets if needed. The 20 oz container is a generous size, and a little goes a long way. This is a solid, no-nonsense probiotic that delivers on its promises. I’ll definitely be getting this again.

None of my 8 cats would eat this!
I’m giving this 1 star for taste because if they won’t eat it then it won’t help them!I can’t honestly give a review as to whether this is beneficial to my cats or not because none of them will eat anything with this in it. Out of eight cats I was able to get one to have a couple of bites before he took off and refused to eat anymore. The portion amount seems massive, It’s actually the same dose as you would give a very large animal. I understand it’s all about metabolism but it’s a very large amount of powder to mix in with their food so I can see why they might not want to eat it when it’s such a large amount. That powder must overwhelm everything else!

Contains Sucrose & Sodium Chloride
This product contains sucrose so you may want to check with your vet if you have a diabetic pet.At first, I didn’t think it came with a scoop but I finally found it towards the bottom of the container. Both my cat and dog ate their dry food without any issue after I sprinkled the probiotic on it. Even though it didn’t all get mixed in, this didn’t seem to bother them so it is either tasteless or has a pleasant taste.I like that I can also put this in water for my other pets that are picky and won’t eat food with anything mixed in it.This probiotic is great to give your pets for every day health or when they are taking an antibiotic to make sure the good bacteria gets replenished in their system.I would definitely recommend this product if you’re looking to restore the healthy bacteria in your animal’s system or to help with digestion.

They like it
I can’t answer to the long-term effectiveness of this probiotic but have no reason to doubt the claims in the product description. Preventive measures are important to pet health. You can see in the photo that Jerry and Zorro have no objections! The three lactobacillus strains in the product are familiar ones found in the probiotic I take myself. I estimate the jar to hold about a pint of powder and will last a long time. As with my own probiotic, I won’t be giving it every day as it might crowd out some trace native strains that they already have in their microbiomes. I give them about a quarter teaspoon at a time rather than the scoopful recommended on the jar for a range of a ten-pound cat all the way up to a calf or foal.

May be fine for a bigger animal, but concerned about the sodium content for the cat
I was genuinely excited when I found this probioticâespecially since it was advertised as filler free and listed only probiotic strains in the ingredients. I have a cat on antibiotics and was hoping this would help restore her gut health.Unfortunately, once the product arrived, I noticed something surprising on the label: 500mg of sodium per scoop. Even at half the dose recommended for cats under 10 pounds, thatâs 250mg of sodium, which is more than a full day’s limit for my 7-pound cat.Based on research from my AI assistant, that amount might be acceptable for larger animals, and the probiotic strains themselves look solid. But Iâm just not comfortable giving that much sodium to a small catâespecially with her existing diet and health sensitivities.I truly wish the sodium content had been listed or disclosed in the product description, so I could have made an informed decision before ordering. For now, Iâll be seeking a lower-sodium, cat-specific probiotic instead.
