Is one hair color dye tube enough for long/thick hair? Will this hair color lighten already colored hair?
Our liquid-creme formula will go a long way but even saturation is key to rich, uniform results. For thick or very long hair we recommend 2 hair color dye tubes to ensure proper application. Our hair color cannot lighten previously colored hair.
My grays are stubborn, will this product cover them?
Stubborn grays are no match for our naturally derived formulas! We suggest adding a N(neutral) to your formula for added coverage. For example, if you are 7WB, get both the 7WB and 7N hair color kits. Combine half of each tube & one 2 Oz developer.
How long does the color last? What kind of shampoo and conditioner should I use?
Our permanent hair color is fade proof for up to 8 weeks! Using a color safe shampoo and conditioner like our Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner collection will help prevent fade out for up to 8 weeks.
What comes with the hair color dye? (Tube Only)
This item is for the hair color dye tube ONLY. To start coloring at home you need to purchase the 2 Fl Oz developer and hair coloring accessorries SEPERATELY.
Should I wash my hair before coloring?
There is no need to wash your hair prior to coloring unless you have heavy product in your hair. If you do have a lot of product in your hair, we suggest washing out the product and drying hair completely before coloring.

So if your allergic to hair dye this stuff will hurt you. I’m so sick of speedy hair dye but there’s not any other. I wish I can get a good batch. My blue tint and dying twice a total waste of time. Once you get speedy to work it’s good.

1 part of 2-part hair color, meant for professionals
I got this to color my beard (cover the gray, change from dirty blond). it appears to have good coverage. It does have chemical smell when processing (typical of hair colors). It will dye nails, and skin to a lesser extent. (I got some on a fingernail, and after multiple washings it’s still very distinct.)Make sure to read the listing carefully–I didn’t catch that this is the color portion only, and you need to buy the developer separately. I missed this when ordering. The tube only shows the “N1” color block and title, so it can be confusing if you don’t keep the carton (and aren’t familiar with that naming system). This definitely seems geared to professionals, rather than individual users who are used to buying a full hair color kit.

One thing as a guy with graying hair is I found that my gray really makes me look much older. So very often I dye my hair using a number of different products. I have never used a color like this permanent liquid hair color dye from Better Natured before so it was definitely a new experience for me. I learned after receiving this tube of color that I need something called developer (which I ordered from Amazon) and a bottle to mix it in (again order hair color mixing bottle from Amazon) Once I had everything, I needed I was able to color my hair. I first read the directions thoroughly. I like how easy it was to understand and read the directions and I knew exactly how to setup the color to dye my hair. I also watched the video on the item’s page just to make sure I was doing it right. I like how the mix is very easy to open and very easy to squeeze out of the tube and into the color mixing bottle I used. I like how it mixed really well with the developer and within less than 5 minutes I was applying it to my hair. I like how easy it was to apply and how well it went on. Once I had my hair completely covered, I set a timer (using Alexa) for 35 minutes and waited. I noticed a distinct odor but wasn’t overpowering or too strong. I also noticed a little bit irritation but that went away shortly. When the 35 minutes were up, I jumped in the shower, washed off the dye and once my hair was dried, I could see that it did an excellent job of dying my hair black which I love. Only thing I wish was that they provided more product as my developer was 4oz and the tube of dye is only 2oz. But even with that I can definitely say this did a great job dying my hair black (just look at my pics!) and highly recommend this product to men or women. 5 out of 5 stars.

Great for Gray Coverage
I’ve always used Beauty supply store dye, but decided to order this on Amazon.This hair dye is pretty easy to use: I mixed one part dye to one part of level 20 developer (1 oz of each) and mixed. My daughter applied this dye to my roots and mainly to cover my grays. I left on for about 40 minutes (as I was working and couldn’t get away from my computer): And I love the results. My grays are completely covered (and I did not add my usual Gray magic product). This left my hair feeling very soft and I had no irritation at all. At this price point, I think I would consider continued use, based on the results.Very happy with this purchase.

I used this hair dye on my husband (he has a lot of grays).It worked great.There was enough to do all of his head (granted, he has short hair).Covers evenly and deep colors.Easy to apply.No reactions. The smell wasn’t bad, either.Definitely recommend!

Thankfully I read before hand about the developer being sold separately & was able to purchase that before receiving this dye. Made from naturally derived ingredients & highly pigmented, the results were an amazing rich & vibrant black color. The color does stay last long (used this in March & it still looks great). Was easy to use, gentle & effective . Would purchase again, great quality!
