This is great for your scalp as well as your hair – and really smells good!
I really love this conditioner – before I started using this, my scalp got so itchy, I would wake up scratching my head in the middle of the night. I started using this, and the itching was over. I also notice, it makes my hair curlier and fuller, like when I was a child. No more split ends either! It also has a very pleasant, light lavender scent, I usually don’t use scented products, but I love the smell. Thanks Amazon for making Paul Mitchell affordable for me – this big bottle lasts me a year, and works great!

Good product!
I’ve used Paul Mitchell products for 20+ years.I really like this conditioner. Makes my hair soft, easy to brush through, and helps with frizziness. I like that it is a leave-in conditioner. I have long hair, medium texture that is slightly wavy.

Great Conditioner!!
This is a great conditioner hands down. Only a very small amount is need so it will last a very LONG time. The smell is great and works the best with Paul Michell One shampoo. Great stuff!!!

Good product
I was excited to try Paul Mitchell’s Classic Leave-in Conditioner, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to my expectations for my 2b-2c hair. While it does soften my hair, it didn’t provide the level of moisture I was looking for. However, when I added a bit of serum on top, it worked beautifully. I think this product has a great ingredient list, but it might not be the best fit for everyone, especially those with curlier hair like mine. If you’re looking for a leave-in conditioner that provides intense moisture, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you’re willing to layer it with other products, it could work well for you.

Works so well, smells so bad
I thought other reviews might be exaggerating about the scent. I was bracing myself for a strong cologne smell based on some of the reviews, but it’s more of a medicinal lotion kind of smell. Really unpleasant scent. That being said, I’ll keep buying this because it’s the best leave-in conditioner I’ve ever used. It’s perfect for my thick curly hair. I use a scented pomade for hold and that actually covers up the smell of this conditioner. I’m not sure I would buy it again if I wasn’t using another scented product over this.

Until I was 14 years old, I always assumed my frizzy hair was simply going to be a curse that I would have to live with. Until a kindly stylist introduced me to Paul Mitchell, the conditioner. It changed my hair, and because at 14 these things matter so very much, it changed my life. The formulation has not changed that I know of. And it is still perfect for naturally curly hair. There are little tips and tricks of how to use it for the best results. It is NOT a brush-blow-out-leave-in.You simply set it, and forget it -and let your curls work in all their glory. Blow dry using a diffuser and nothing else. Apply to slightly wet, towel, dried hair, and use a wide tooth comb. Hand crimp your curls, preferably with your head down, using only your fingers and the motion to naturally separate each lock. Repeat once or twice over 15 minutes while air drying then, using your diffuser on low-fan but high heat, cup each small section with your hand â controlling each section & the curls.Finally, with your head all the way down, diffuse at your scalp using controlled, small circular motions.Be sure to get the crown and down the back of your head all the way down to the nape. The whole process should take about two minutes.Et voila! Beautifully conditioned hair, incredible curls, NO FRIZZ (if youâve done it correctly) and incredibly fluffy, gorgeous lift off your scalp.Take it from a professional hairstylist-Never mess with a classic.

Love love love
I will use this conditioner for the rest of my life. It has helped my hair from breaking and falling out. I have used 2 quarters sized plops with medium length and doesn’t make it feel oily or over conditioned. My hair is fine and the Conditioner has brought back it’s natural shine and softness. Works wonderfully!! Great price for a name brand product. A little bit goes a long way.

Doesnât moisturize enough for dry climates
I been looking for a leave in conditioner that is moisturizing enough to handle the dry climate of AZ. This leave in product doesnât smell great. Smells like a salon which is whatever.. but the moisturizing aspect which I am most seeking.. wasnât moisturizing enough. I followed the instructions and put it in my hair after my shower and hair was damp. It went in my hair easily and felt like it would make it soft and hydrated but that didnât last. I then let it air dry fully inside before going outside where the sun and heat could dry it out and I wanted to see how the product did without extra harsh conditions on it. Well it didnât even pass the indoor test. I have mostly wavy fine hair with the majority of hair being low porosity. I been doing minimal color treatments on my brown hair for 2 years now and will only use 6 vol developer and a toner for my hair at the ends where previous highlights are growing out a couple times a year to blend but I am really trying to make my hair as healthy and moisturized as possible. Just still on a hunt to find a product moisturizing enough to handle the dry climate and my overall hair type. When I visit the east coast in a couple months Iâll see if it works well there since there is more humidity. If it does, I will update my review.

Utilizo dicho producto desde hace 7 años, mi pelo rizado encrespado y tendente a nudos muy complicados de eliminar, y este producto lo logra de forma sencilla. Pero tengo una duda desde hace 1 mes estoy comenzando con el método curly.. y me darÃa mucha pena tener que dejar de usarlo…es compatible con dicho método??

Iâve been using this conditioner for about 30 years, since discovering it in the U.S. It is an amazing product that gets through knots so much better than other conditioners. My hair is super curly and no other product comes near the Detangler. Iâve tried so many conditioners and always come back to this one. I canât say enough how much I love this product
