Great product I’ve used for 30 years.
I have used this shampoo for 30 years. It smells nice but it isn’t too overbearing a smell. It cleans well with just a little bit so it lasts a long time. My hair looks very healthy at 66, it looks like I am 30. It does not make your hair flat. Good texture and thickness.

My favorite version of Paul Mitchell
This is still my favorite shampoo 35 years later. It’s not cheap, but still much cheaper than some of the professional brands. This shampoo you don’t need a lot of to wash you’re hair, the thickness is just right as it is not too thin, as some feel, cheap, and not too thick, as some that leave residue or are hard to rinse out. This shampoo lathers well and rinses out. you’re hair feels clean and soft. I’m kind of glad you can purchase this now from other places than the salon, as before, you couldn’t. When you order from Amazon.com, it’s also authentic.

Odd scent, not as described
I just used this shampoo for the first time. It’s done a fine job and my hair is clean and soft, but the scent is strange. The listing describes it as “Creamy tropical coconut scent with a hint of crushed pineapple”, but to meet it smells like apple pie with cinnamon. The scent isn’t terrible, but its not what I wanted at all. I don’t want to small like pie! Lol. I’ll keep it because it was 50% off.

This is the BEST smelling shampoo Iâve ever used! Iâm a coconut fan and this smells AMAZING! I washed my hair with it once and it seems to do pretty good with balancing oil from hot summer days. My hair is thin straight and kinda short and has breakage from hard water. The coconut doesnât leave my hair oily either. I use a different brand conditioner for color treated hair, my hair is colored as well and although itâs already a bit faded as itâs almost time for a color I donât see it stripping color as it says itâs color safe and i believe that to me true!! I love this shampoo better than the other one they have for regular use and balancing moisture level. Itâs a little pricey but I can tell you a little goes a long way and itâs worth every penny. In these summer days after a day between washes and going outside my normal hair and scalp turns oily and greasy looking and feeling and this takes care of it! Doesnât cause itchiness! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a balancing shampoo to use all year round since it doesnât strip hair like a clarifying shampoo itâs gentle enough for daily all year round use. My conditioner I use is moisturizing so it helps weigh out any drying this may do and I donât see it over drying the hair, it cleans it and makes it smell good and I have always used conditioner after shampoo. If I had a conditioner that went with the smell of this shampoo would be great! Youâll thank me later but go ahead and add it to cart with your favorite conditioner!
