Sunscreen for Hair that Really Works
20 years ago, I colored my hair red. The first time I spent time in the sun, I was horrified that my red hair turned Bozo orange! I immediately started looking for a product that would protect the intended color. Paul Mitchellâs Color Locking Spray is what I found and have used it ever since. I like that not only does it keep my hair the color I want, but it has no scent and I can not feel it in my hair, yet it works. If you have a part in your hair, it will prevent your scalp from burning. If I go to the beach or will be spending a lot of time in the sun, I still wear a hat, but my red hair has never turned orange from the sun since that first experience due to Paul Mitchell. This is a fantastic product.

Excellent product
This is a great product for prolonging the life of highlights and color applied to your hair. I use it after shampooing and before drying my hair. The spray lasts a long time, I used only one bottle in nearly two years so takes very little spray to apply and work through your hair. Excellent product.

I dyed my hair fully blue at the beginning of May and admittedly my hair is thankfully very good at holding color, but I also have very greasy hair and it gets hard to style when it is greasy, which means I have to wash it more often than is ideal for funky colors. SoI get my conditioner and shampoo from FunctionOfBeauty with a color protector added into it, but wanted something for out of the shower as “extra insurance” and I’ve actually seen a big difference, I haven’t seen a lot of fadeing in the color and it’s staying vibrant! I’m at week 8 with the blue and its stayed the same vibrancey as week 5ish, when I got this product. I LOVE it and absolutely recommend it, my only regret is not thinking to get before and after pics, but when I get the color refreshed I will try to remember to get some as I use this product!
