Gentle gum care has finally arrived as a priority for Oral B
The new iO toothbrushes from Oral-B have the same gentle but effective feel as the dental hygienist brushes in the office. For over 20 years, people have emphasized brushing hard at the gum tooth border, supposedly as a way of reducing plaque buildup there. But for several years now, it seem to me that this does much more harm than good, and I directly witnessed gum, recession, and exposure near the teeth roots, especially at the areas where I focused on brushing at the gums. The opinion I have been hearing for the last few years is the exact opposite of this: do not brush the gums, only brush the teeth , but affective flossing, etc. Itâs important to protect the gums from this trauma of extremely fast, spinning, toothbrushes, and Iâve been very happy with the new generation of toothpaste, such as Gum Detoxify.I could not be happier with the IO Generation two gentle toothbrush, and the most gentle cleaning heads, used on the lowest setting. Our only complaint was how to use this in a family of four people who previously had four separate heads with four separate colors. Braun was completely unable to offer any help in this matter: they said they do not have a multi head holder that would fit with the new.IO Toothbrushes or the charger.Iâm here to tell you the new charger fits perfectly well in the old Braun oral B 4 brushhead Holder. Itâs important to note the old charger does not work with the new io Toothbrush, but it is the exact same size as the old one so it snapped easily into the holder. It is also also important to say that the new io Brushhead do not fit completely inside the holder either. But they lay on it very easily with the lid up, and this has solved our problem. If you do not have the old holder, it is still available to buy and Braun Give me a link to their parts company: https://encompass.com/item/10624239/Oral-B/67040225/This is solved our storage issue: as you can see, or will be brushhead, can be distinguished by a series of 12 different small symbols at the bottom of each brushhead: or will be further assure customers that this means you will never get to identical symbols, and when I bought eight of these, I had three duplicates. Oral B States they have no way of individually picking symbols, so there is a reasonable chance you will get duplicates if you buy two four packs.

Excellent value. The IO models have excellent cleaning action and the heads last many months. There are many cheap electric toothbrushes out there and Iâd argue these IO models are the best value if you take into account performance and durability.

This tooth brush was recommended by my hygienist. It is an awesome electric toothbrush. I had used a competitors brand for over twenty years and cannot believe how much more efficient this toothbrush is. I love it.

Bad out of box
Well, I’ve had several Oral B’s over many years. This one – a big dud; dead out of the box. So now need to return itand maybe buy something different. But at least in the past, Oral B’s have worked well and in fact I still have 230-year-old models that still work well. Huh.

So disappointed by the battery life of this product.I have had electric toothbrushes that have latest for years, with a consistant battery life. This toothbrush started having problems after a few months but I didn’t realise at the time. After only a few times I had to charge it every few days and the last few months I’ve had to charge it constantly. Now it doesn’t even last one use.Very disappointed as I have usually received good quality products from Amazon.I am writing this review as there is no way to email Amazon to inform them of this products defects.

I remember purchasing a new, unused product. However, the product arrived defective, the brush motor does not seem to be working (or maybe it’s the battery). Moreover, the charger it came with is stained in blue ink, it is not the proper charger, and I could not charge the device. I am returning the item.
