Saved my nails!
TLDR- GET THIS!!! It worked for me w/consistency and patience. Product is a watery consistency and dries fast!My nails had become thin and brittle, so my solution to keep them from bending and breaking below the free edge constantly, was to start keeping them coated in builder gel and UV gel polish. That worked great for a few years, but my nails were in desperate need of a break from having them constantly polished.Once all of the gel polish was off I knew I was in trouble. My nails were now beyond thin, they were paper thin and peeling. The slightest touch would bend them. It was painful. I couldnât even scratch myself. And of course, when you know you canât scratch, is when you become the itchiest human ever. It was torture. All of my nails actively hurt.So I went on the hunt for something that could help. I eventually settled on this OPI Repair Mode. It arrived and I started using it immediately and religiously. Twice a day, every day. Without fail. I had reminders set on my phone to be sure I didnât forget (thanks, ADHD!).The product itself is thin and watery. Not at all like nail polish. And you donât have to have a steady hand to apply it. Just slop it on, wait a minute or so and go. Super fast and easy!The first month of use I would go back and forth with myself trying to figure out if it was working or not. It was definitely working some and my nails had become less painful, but I still couldnât scratch any itches I had. My nails were still thin and breaking, even though I kept them as short as possible.Toward the end of the second month is when I finally knew progress was being made. My nails werenât peeling or painful anymore. And I was able to lightly scratch my itches again. Finally!!After a solid 2 months of use, I decided to cut down to using the product once a day and start incorporating revitalizing cuticle oil (I used Cuccio that I found here on Amazon) into my nail rehab routine. I would use the cuticle oil on my nails and the surrounding skin (rubbing it in as much as possible) in the morning and usually at least once during the day, then at night Iâd put on the Repair Mode. I did that for a couple of weeks, then stopped using the Repair Mode altogether.Now I just use the oil a few times a day without a schedule or reminders. Just whenever I remember or feel like my nails are feeling extra dry. Itâs been about 3 months now and my nails are almost back to what Iâd call normal.I really hope this review helps anyone who was in my shoes. Itâs not fun to have painful, bendy, peeling, breaking, nails, but there is hope! I hope this works for you like it did for me!!

Great repair aid!
Truly the best Iâve ever used to restore and repair my nails. It didnât happen overnight; nailâs grow slow. It repaired my torn nails from months of wearing glue on nails. My splitting nail is also now repaired. My nails are growing faster and stronger!

This is the first product I have found that actually works. Used as instructed, it has made my extremely weak nails feel stronger and it is helping me grow them out without the pain of excessively thin nails.

Great but with a few flaws
The product works as long as you use it twice a day. Iâve NEVER had strong nails, until now. Itâs definitely worth buying. Howeverâ¦.the reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because of their stupid packaging. First, the bottle is like tinted windows in your car. You canât see inside the bottle so you donât know if itâs almost gone. What idiot thought this one up? Second, the bottle is narrow and tall for its size so itâs easy to tip over which I just did. I wasted about a quarter of the bottle. Iâm only guessing itâs that much by the amount on the table since I canât see inside the bottle.Every other Oâ¢Pâ¢I product comes in a stable bottle so why not this one??

This is awesome! My nails have become super thin and easy to break after developing a nutrition deficiency. Iâve tried different vitamins and creams with no luck, but after using this as the directions suggest, my nails havenât broken at all and grow really fast!

May or may not repair nails
This is a fast drying liquid I use to nourish dry flaky nails between gel manicures. I think it slows down nail deterioration but I donât see dramatic results.

Pricey but good!
Works well so far! I’ve been using it on my nails (which are paper thin) for about a week now, 3x a day. It’s definitely helping with the sensitivity of my nails, but can’t say much about growth. It is a little pricey in my opinion, not a miracle product or a cure all. But it definitely helps in combination with other nail strengthening products.

Il costo è abbastanza alto ma va anche detto che la boccetta è molto grande e ne serve davvero pochissimo ad ogni passata. Consigliato da un’amica onicotecnica per rinforzare le unghie. Si passa prima della manicure e si asciuga velocemente all’aria, poi si può procedere anche con il semipermanente (io lo faccio a casa da sola, non sono esperta e lo ho utilizzato senza problemi!) Super consigliato!

Compré este producto la semana pasada porque después de la última retirada de semipermanente que me hice noté que mis uñas naturales estaban súper frágiles y dañadas, hasta el punto de que me dolÃa horriblemente a la hora de hacer cualquier cosa con ellas. Me hago yo misma la manicura en casa y hace poco probé a usar unas uñas postizas, ha sido lo peor que he podido hacer en este mundo… después de quitarme las postizas, el pegamento me dejó las uñas horribles y me dolÃan mucho, asà que probé a usar builder gel para protegerlas y ya no me dolÃan. Cuando pensé que me habÃan crecido lo retiré completamente y seguÃan mis pobres uñas naturales fatal. He probado bastantes productos que dicen endurecer o mejorar la uñas natural pero ninguno igual a este. Con la primera capa que me puse pude notar la diferencia… mis uñas pasaron de estar súper débiles y que dolÃan solo con verlas a poder tocarlas y sentirlas más fuertes. Solo con el primer uso me sorprendió porque ahora podÃa limar mis uñas naturales sin llorar del dolor. Ahora llevo ya usándolo durante los 6 dÃas que promete que hace efecto, siguiendo las instrucciones de ponerlo 2 veces al dÃa y sin duda mis uñas están maravillosas y más fuertes que nunca.Súper bueno el producto, es el mejor en el mercado ahora mismo y por lo que tengo entendido OPI tiene la patente, asà que es el único en el sector con esta forma reparadora. Por lo que he podido leer, el producto actua en tu uñas creando más uniones entre las células con keratina y vitaminas. De esta manera se incrusta en tu uña, no es solo una capa protectora que se pone encima y hace de escudo, este producto penetra en tu uña y la hace más fuerte en su composición natural. IncreÃble!! Además, es súper fácil de usar y de poner, es un pincel súper fino que ayuda a llegar a todos los rincones y se seca rápidamente, en menos de un minuto ya está seco y puedes seguir con tu vida normal. No es nada pegajoso ni nada, es perfecto y da un resultado maravilloso!! Por lo que tengo entendido puedes ponértelo como primer antes de la base para la manicura semi y seguirá teniendo efecto. También he visto que puedes aplicarlo en tu uña a medida que va creciendo como si fuera aceite de cutÃcula para que la nueva uña que crece esté fuerte!! Es lo mejor del mundo y lo recomiendo 100%!!!

I am 74 years old. Never had good nails because of the medication I take. In one week of using OPI Repair Mode I noticed a big difference. Itâs now 4 weeks since I started using OPI Repair Mode my nails are smoother, stronger and I havenât had to wear any coloured polish to hide the nail lifting. Love this product.

I think this is an underrated product to some degree (about 4.1 stars as of now). It DOES work, but… not really in 6 days. That said, nail growth is so slow and small that it would be hard to tell if there was growth in 6 days.I had very damaged nails from poor care – spraying my plants with rubbing alcohol solution with no gloves was probably the biggest culprit (thanks thrips), but there was other neglect too. I’m really into nail wraps, so nails that broke were replaced with a press on until they grew out. The fake nails or glue was never removed properly. Eventually I had so many breaks and damaged nails I realized I had to start again. It’s been agonizing waiting for them to grow so I can do nail wraps again.If you use this serum, scrap the nail polishes that help your nails grow (they did nothing for me) and use this + nail moisturizers. I used this 2 to 4x a day – never less than 2 – from April 18 to May 1. The pictures show the growth in just under two weeks. Nails grow around 3mm per month. My middle finger on my left hand has grown about 2mm. That’s tracking faster than typical growth. My index finger on my right hand only has about 1mm over the same time period. It’s stubbornly slow.So did this serum help speed up growth? Are my nails stronger?Maybe. It definitely didn’t hurt. If nothing else, it made me feel like I’m doing something to fix the situation, and that’s likely just as valuable lol.I don’t think there is any product that can really make your nails grow faster/thicker, but I’ve also learned there is no single, silver bullet answer to fixing damaged nails. It requires a lot of routine changes and products. If you’re born with weak, bendy nails, like me, the effects last only as long as you use the product(s).***important: During this time I also used KUR Londontown Nail Restoration cream and Healthy Hoof + cotton gloves at least when I go to bed. I created an entire nail care regime that is, frankly, exhausting. But I miss my nail wraps so much, it’s worth it.

An exceptional nail care product. Although you think it’s an expensive item (and it is), I believe that if used according to the directions given, it really helps to strengthen the nails: it has certainly helped mine. It’s unbelievably easy to use, although be warned that if you happen to chew or pick at the skin around your nails, if this gets onto damaged skin it might sting a bit! Use it twice a day for 6 consecutive days – set an alarm on your mobile if you think you’ll forget.I will be treating my nails with it regularly in future and buying it again when it runs out. I’m very happy I invested in it.
