Why did you pick this product vs others?:My old OMRON BP machine was probably 20 years old? anyway it finally stopped working (used in constantly per doctor orders).  I decided to try and order a replacement, and was surprised at how expensive these products have become. So I hit the Budget button, and tried a highly reviewed ,high-quality color-screen replacement. That machine did not live up to the quality that I was used to, and so I finally got frustrated enough that I bought this OMRON machine.  I selected it because of the Bluetooth compatibility to send data to my phone since my doctor is always asking me for it when I go in to see them. This is saving me time because I donât have to type in the readings manually, and allows me in the app to add notes for each reading if I want to.Accuracy:I have calibrated the meter with the one that the Dr. uses and they match.Fit:I usually have to order a extra large cuff, but the one that came with this product by the fall works fine for me. Ease of use:Most important is that this machine does not constantly get an error message on reading for me. It is almost always picking up the first reading. It is occasionally wanting to do a new reading. I also find it most interesting that if I am not sitting still at the machine knows! It actually sounds a comment to me. You need to sit still, and stop goofing around (not a direct quote). Brightness:It would be nice if it was backlit, I opted not to spend the money for that option. Bear in mind, you will need to have a light on in the room to read the display.

Accurately detects AFib
This Omron blood pressure monitor gives fast and accurate readings, with the added benefit of AFib detection.This monitor is easy to set up and use. It can be paired with the Omron Connect app, and the readings immediately sync to my phone every time I check my blood pressure. This is a great feature for keeping up with my daily readings, and for sharing them with my doctor.My mom has an irregular heart rhythm, and also AFib, so I asked her to test out the AFib detection abilities of this monitor. This monitor accurately detected both the irregular rhythm, and AFib. We compared her results from this blood pressure monitor to the results from her personal EKG monitor, and they both showed the same readings.My only complaint with this monitor is that when it detects AFib, it will show “AF” on the screen, but does not show your blood pressure reading. When it detects an irregular rhythm, it shows that you had an irregular rhythm, and also displays your blood pressure reading. I wish it would do the same for AFib.

Works well when syniked properly
When we bought this it was a pain in the but to get it set up!,downloading the app, syniking with the machine and most of all proper pllacement of the cuff!! Directions should have been simple but it was verry frustating. I had to have help from some one who alreading had one. Now all is well and it works very smoothly.
