Eye health!
I have Sjogrenâs Syndrome (SS), an autoimmune dz where my body no longer produces tears, saliva, or most any secretions. 20 + yrs ago it was thought fish oil would improve tear production. So I enrolled in any hospital trials I could find. Iâve been on fish oil supplements since then. Fast forward to now. Studies show 3rd party tested (purity) in the triglyceride form (best absorption) with high levels of DHA (specifically for Sjogrenâs, and EPA from deep cold water fish are the best. 5 yrs ago I was diagnosed with a very rare eye dz, Occular Cicatrical Pemphagoid. I did loose my vision in my left eye, almost my right but over the past 3 yrs right eye vision is good. So, while I canât comment on pain issues because I have none! Keep in mind approx 75% of women w SS have rheumatoid arthritis. Iâm 63 and have a family hx of arthritis but I have none although sisâs and mom do. The American Board of Ophthmology recommends AREDS. I also supplement w lutien and xanthium. I have no sense of smell or taste so once again I canât comment. The capsules are very lg. I have no problem swallowing theses w a lg glass of water. Iâm a firm believer in this product. Just before ea order, check to see if the product hasnât changed.

We have taken Omega-3 supplements for years to support our cardiovascular, immune, and musculoskeletal systems. 15 benefits from super omegas that I found. Dr. Martin’s Nutrition really impressed me -Highest EPA and DHA on Amazon!!! And it doesn’t cost near as much as my last brand! I was primarily interested in reliving my ADD and obtaining optimum brain focus, helping my immune system because my younger brother just passed away from pancreatic cancer. I was reading in Life Extension that omega 3’s and 9’s help with my husband’s Asthma! Great price and on-time delivery
Received this product about a week ago, so can’t say anything yet about the results of taking high-dose Omega-3 fish oil (prescribed by my orthopedist), but I can say that, in doing my research, this seems like the right option for me. I had a few criteria, all of which Dr. Martin’s met: fewest pills/softgels to take, made in the U.S.A., GMP/USP certified, and a reasonable price/daily dose. I couldn’t find anything else that came close; the price of the Dr. Martin’s was well below anything else I could find for a similar product. (Be sure to compare the price of the daily dose, not the price per pill; some formulations require many more pill to achieve the same daily dose.) They’re not completely burpless, despite the claim, but I’ve never found a fish oil pill that was, and these aren’t bad. Amazon delivered the product as promised and on time, so I’m very happy with my purchase. I hope they do the trick for my arthritic knee!

High dose is effective for me
I like the high strength. My doctor said to take 3000mg a day. I double up and get 3260mg each day. Easy to swallow. My knees don’t crack. No need to refrigerate or freeze. Occasionally I’ll get a fishy taste, but that’s only when I’ve warmed them by having them in my hand for awhile before swallowing them with liquid. This is a good EPA to DHA ratio for me. The quality and price are excellent. I ran out for about 6 weeks and my knees began cracking again. I re-ordered!EPA is helpful for certain things. DHA is helpful for other things. The ratio of each to the other is important depending on what a person is looking to achieve. In addition to what other reviewers have said, fish oil is good for reducing silent inflammation in the body. That is many times the underlying cause of a lot of ailments.

Quality fish oil
I switched to this brand after the price of my Spring Valley fish oil, I used before, at Walmart nearly doubled in price. I am very pleased with this product and the price. I save $7 a month. And trust me, that adds up when I am buying multiple supplements a month! It helps so much with my hair health & growth, nail health & growth, and skin health.

Great Value Although Not Entirely Burpless
You really get a lot of bang for the buck with this fish oil. And I think that my body is liking the extra strength. I take one in the morning and one at some point after dinner but before bedtime. I have never noticed any burping after the morning pill. But at night I definitely burped fish oil. I have to explain that I burp a lot after a meal. And I don’t mind fish and fish oil. In fact, I like Ikura (salmon roe) which is VERY fishy. So this doesn’t bother me at all. But if you sensitive to this sort of thing you may want to do flex seed oil instead.
