9/10 color wasnât what i expected from the advertisement
Itâs cute like a deep brick red. I thought it would be more brown itâs more burgundy. I think itâs pretty on my skin tone but I still wish it was more brown. My skin tone is like a deeper brown sugar color. I like this product over a deep brown liner and the Clinique black honey tinted chapstick. It doesnât plump anything which is good for me itâs not sticky on my lips which I do love and stuff doesnât get caught in it so thatâs great.Edit: it does get that gummy stuff if your having a chattier day, I live very close to the east river and like taking walks riverside so itâs been windy day tested. If your wearing your hair down this is not the product for wind, especially if your hair is light colored or has a loose curl pattern. I have chunky dreadlocks arguably some of the most wind resistant hair, wore my hair down and took a walk worst mistake ever, glossy locs and hairy gloss is not it.

Mom’s Lip Game is Fire!
Every time I wear this I get compliments. One of my daughter’s friends told her recently “Your mom’s lip game is fire”. Endorsements from the young folks means I am doing something right with my toilette! I am on my second bottle and the first I purchased from JC Penney when they were having a sale. I only bought one because it was my first time purchasing a new product. Don’t let me catch this item on sale again now that it is a favorite because I will stock up!

great with some minor concerns
Pros:- first and foremost, the tanghulu type coating; this is probably my favorite glossy finish I’ve ever tried cuz it is immediate and doesn’t require waiting for the gloss to set. I would describe the finish as a slightly less clear version (slightly creamy? shine) of the Romand juicy lasting tint line, if you’ve heard of those- pigment surprised me; I purchased it thinking there was going to be a sheer wash of color. It’s a lot more pigmented than I expected, like it SHOWS up- shade; I bought scrollin’, and I love the color so much. I’ve been looking for a warm brick-ish mlbb lip shade that didn’t pull too pink but couldn’t find the exact shade I envisioned. this was it. reddish terra cotta that wasn’t too muted or saturated. thank you nyx.- seems to be pretty long-lasting. it didn’t transfer as much as my usual lippies when I drank from my water bottle, but there was definitely still some.Cons:- the packaging kind of gives me anxiety; the large applicator fishes out a lot of product when pulled quickly, I felt like I would get it everywhere if I were too careless- applicators kinda big; I have mixed feelings on it. it’s flexible and comfortable on the lips, it’s just that it lacks the precision I typically like with my lip products because I like to do some basic contouring with them. not a huge issue tho, I could make it work- fruity (?) scent; might be a pro for some ppl, but I’m not a huge fan of scented products, and it’s pretty strong.Conclusion: Overall, I like it and I would definitely repurchase, especially with the color (I’ve found the shade I’ve been searching for for years, and I ain’t giving it up) and shine. the cons are more like minor inconveniences if anything and doesn’t really get in the way of much. I’ve heard complaint that it leaks, but I haven’t experienced any of that yet. I will be buying more, pleas and thank you.

Deep Caramel is a good daytime gloss
At first I was a little uneasy about getting this shade of NYX Fat Oil. I’m so glad that I decided to try it anyway. Supposedly Deep Caramel is frequently returned. I think that this shade is exactly what I was looking for. I prefer NYX products, so I am very happy with my purchase. I’m a medium tone black woman and this shade is perfect for a daytime look.

My new favorite lip oilâhydrating, glossy, and not sticky!
Iâve tried a bunch of lip oils, but NYX nailed it with the Fat Oil. The texture is rich and cushiony, but it doesnât feel heavy or stickyâjust super smooth and moisturizing. I grabbed the shade Follow Back, and it gives a subtle tint with a beautiful glossy finish.It keeps my lips soft for hours, even through dry weather, and the fat applicator is oddly satisfying to use. It feels way more luxe than its price tag suggests.

itâs sticky, not a lip oil
yes, stay on, it has a little color on it but itâs not a lip oil like it says , itâs not that lightweight, itâs sticky, like REAL sticky, i had to pour some vitamin E oil on it to get a more oil feel cause i donât like that sticky texture on my lips, otherwise youll feel your lips hydrated, moisturized so if you donât mind the sticky feel go ahead, this is your lip GLOSS, not oil at all

I’m almost done with this bottle. Oil is really nice and the slight color makes it even better!!! It’s also a universal shade as well, the pictures on the product site don’t do it justice as it looks like it’ll separate, but it does not. It lasts an above decent amount of time, smells lightly fruity which is cute! Absolutely worth the money although I know some of the other colors are cheaper than others? I don’t understand why this is as it is the same base product. Beautiful doe-foot applicator that covers full lips effortlessly. My only “I wish it was better” is the package color lol it really is this vibrant green. Can’t be discreet about it and it makes it look like one of those old skool products you’d get with a doll lol.I will be repurchasing one, hoping to find it at the actual price and not this inflated one.
