Ali, my cat, loves this food.
My 8 year old, now 16-pound, cat loves this food. She’s the most indolent cat I’ve ever seen and thinks the only exercise she needs is sleeping. The good news is that, after gaining a bit of weight while switching her to this food, she has actually lost a bit and is now 15.8 pounds. Not a big difference, but she’s held that level for more than 6 months now. Most important, however, is that she really likes this food and it can be extremely difficult to try to make a food change for any cat, particularly an older one like my Ali. My vet has looked at the ingredients and the recommended serving and finds nothing that should be causing her weight gain other than laziness. My previous cats (both seniors)loved NutriSource as well, but had each other for activity. Ali is a one-pet-in-the-household cat. Her previous owners told me how she would chase other animals from her domain. That works for me because I only want one pet at this stage of my life. I’ll stay with this food unless or until the vet determines that more drastic action needs to be taken.

Two wild animals (raccoons) tore into box and ate cat food . Box and bag of food was torn into. Food was scattered within the box. Raccoons can carry diseases, thus I cannot trust feeding this food to my cat.

Calories a little higher than deaired
Kitty was scratching at Amazon box as soon as this arrived he needs to lose weight but the portion on this says less than a cup is 307 cal the vet we ants him no more than 224 so when this is finished we won’t be buying again although he loves itIm updating this my cat has gained weight on this so Im giving it to a neighbor who feeds our ferals and buying something with less calories BEWARE
