Actually Helped My Joints
Iâve been lifting on and off for years, but have had issues with my knees cracking and popping constantlyâespecially during squats. I started taking this type 2 collagen supplement a few months ago, and Iâve noticed a big improvement in joint comfort and mobility.The cracking in my knees has significantly reduced, and my joints feel more supported overall during workouts. I didnât expect results right away, but after staying consistent, itâs made a noticeable difference.If youâre active, lift regularly, or just dealing with stiff or noisy joints, this is definitely worth trying. Just give it time and stay consistent.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
I used to use the other, more expensive collagen type 2. It was the only product that relieved the pain in my hip, which has no cartilage due to a bad accident that twisted the joint. At some point, they changed the name to “joint formula” and lowered the amount of the type 2 collagen. They added a little bit of hyaluronic acid, as if a few mg of that makes up for 400 mg less collagen. And they raised the price, so I can no longer afford it.I was back to wishing I were no longer alive on cold, wet winter days.I was very happy to find this several months ago. It is the same, proven collagen at a better price. I am back to walking in comfort!God bless you, NOW supplements. You have greatly improved the quality of my life.NOTE: Although labelled vegan in the description, Type II collagen is only available from animal cartilage. This product is derived from chicken sternum cartilage, and states exactly that on the supplement facts area of the label.

To me NOW has been a good brand, for many years.
Always had such good luck with NOW products. I’ve never had a bad reaction yet, so I’m trying this collagen for the first time…. we’ll see.

We like the quality, size, and how easy they are to swallow with fluids. These capsules are made from chicken sternal cartilage and is said to promote health joint function, comfortable movement, and strong connective tissue while maintaining normal moisture in aging skin. It’s still early to assess how effective these capsules are in accomplishing these goals. These capsules do not contain yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, shellfish, nuts, or sesame ingredients, which should be helpful for those who allergic to these foods. These capsules are rather pricey, so it may be worth finding lower-cost alternatives that perform as well/accomplish the same results.

Great for joints
My husband and I have purchased Collagen several times now. I started using the NOW brand back in 2020 when we all had to work from home. I used a laptop and mouse at my kitchen table (not ergonomically correct at all). Using the mouse really affected my right shoulder to the point I couldn’t raise my arm over my head. I started taking the NOW brand Collagen and within 3 days, I could raise my arm again. I haven’t quit taking them.

Product is fine but you get such a small amount for the price, imo. According to Copilot the recommend dosage of collagen for cartilage issues isFor cartilage repair and joint health, the recommended collagen dosage depends on the type of collagen supplement:1. Hydrolyzed Collagen (Collagen Peptides)Dose: 5 to 15 grams per dayUse: Commonly used for improving joint function, reducing pain, and supporting cartilage regeneration 1.2. Undenatured Type II Collagen (UC-II)Dose: 10 to 40 milligrams per dayUse: Specifically targets joint health and is derived from chicken sternum cartilage 2A serving size in this bottle is: 2 capsules which is 1 g of BioCell Collagen (1,000 mg Hydrolyzed Chicken Sternal Cartilage Extract, providing 570 mg Hydrolyzed Type II Collagen).I will not buy again. Although, not Type II, I switched to Sports Research Marine Collagen, 10 g Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen Peptides per scoop (~30 scoop per container).
