Smells Great, Not Heavy, Small Size
My first impression is how great it smells. Also, small in size, so keep in mind 3.5 oz may not provide a lot of applications. I have fine, shoulder length hair and I was able to get 4 uses. This hair mask isn’t too heavy and didn’t weigh my hair down. It’s not a product that drastically changed the health of my hair. I give the smell 5 stars, but wouldn’t recommend as a deep moisture treatment. As far as hair growth, I can’t say because I only used it 4 times and didn’t purchase again.

Smells like the salon, and my hair feels great!
I didn’t expect to love this hair mask as much as I do. It’s a small jar and when you open it up, it smells distinctly like you’re at the hairdresser’s. (Hard to explain, but when you catch the scent, you’ll know exactly what I mean.) It’s a nice thick cream that absorbs well into dry hair, but it does feel like it’s not very spreadable. Maybe my hair’s more dry than others, but it felt like I needed a fair amount to really get my hair reasonably covered. (I have hair that’s about to my shoulder, for reference.) I focused mostly on getting my roots and scalp covered, and then spreading product towards my dry ends.Keep in mind that you should be putting this on DRY hair, and letting it soak in for 40 minutes or so. So it’s a little inconvenient as far as taking up your time, but trust me, the results make the time investment worth it. When I hopped in the shower, I went to rinse it off and was immediately impressed. My hair felt SO smooth as I rinsed it out, and after, too! Think of a really moisturizing, rich conditioner that leaves your hair feeling glossy and smooth, and that’s what this accomplishes. So while I doubted I used enough of this hair mask to make a difference, it was instantly noticeable how it improved the texture and shine of my hair.What’s even better? After fully rinsing my hair and finishing my shower, the lovely “salon scent” stayed with my hair. Even into the next couple days, my partner could notice the pleasing scent. Not in an overpowering way, but like a subtle perfume, if that makes sense. My hair became far easier to dry and straighten, and the shine and smoothness has been wonderful. I’m now planning to use this weekly to improve my hair’s health. Absolutely worth it!! Must-buy!

Made my hair feel a lot more dry
I was very surprised when I used this, because I didn’t like it at all for my hair type. I have 4C hair, which is very thick and very dense, so for the tiny container that this is, I thought I would go through this entire container in about 2-3 uses. I applied it to super wet hair like I always do, and because the texture of the cream was so thick, I decided to forgo sitting under my hair dryer with a bonnet on because I didn’t want it to get too dry.I set a timer to make sure I wasn’t leaving it on my hair for too long, but I still noticed it was super dry and difficult to get off of my hair when I went to rinse it out. My hair didn’t feel softer or smoother when I rinsed it out and went to dry and style it. Instead, my hair felt like it desperately needed more moisture. It smells nice and a little goes a long way but I probably wont be using this hair mask again.

Keeps my hair moisturized
I’ve used countless ointments but this is the first one that actually keeps my hair moisturized for days. I try to use it sparingly since it is a small jar. It has a lotion type of texture to it, not oily, decent pleasant smell. Instead of using it all over my head, I just use it in the problem areas. Then after about 5-10 minutes I get in the shower and sort of rinse it with water. Great product!

Surprised at how tiny the container is but for 3oz I guess this is right.The seal was very hard to open & the contents are too watery for my tastes.As a hair-mask it did OK. Hair came out with no tangles etc but this thing is awfully expensive.4 stars at best.
