Why did you pick this product vs others?:This thermometer is disposable which means there is less risk of the germs spreading from person to person. I am happy to have these in my emergency kit.

Good to have as a backup to thermometers with batteries.
I haven’t used these yet so I’m only giving 4 stars because I don’t know how they work. I bought them because I was really sick a while back and wanted to take my temperature but all my thermometers, including the one I have for my pets weren’t working because the batteries were dead so I bought these as a backup to the ones I own.

Practical, easy and accurate!! Moms will love it
I love it that is so practical and fast! I have two kids so itâs perfect to keep some of them in their bag, my car, purse and to travel. Theyâre individually packed so that makes it easy instead of having to carry (and forget many times) a regular thermometer. Noticed itâs very accurate as well. Will keep this product in my wish list hahah. Great for moms!

These donât work. Iâm a medical professional and was looking for a thermometer to use in the back country. I tried three of these at home and they do not work.

I tried the thermometer recently. It’s so easy to take a temperature, especially when you’re on the go with endless activities. No batteries, no cleaning, and portableâ I keep a few in my travel bag, just in case. Honestly, it makes life easier, especially for parents or anyone who wants to take a temperature easily.

Difficult to read, expensive but travels without breakage worries
The NexTemp® oral thermometer is difficult to read, expensive but travels without breakage worries. However, I cannot imagine too many circumstances where this product is a reasonable alternative to a digital thermometer (that needs batteries to work), or the traditional glass thermometer that is reliable but fragile.I tested one of the NexTemp® thermometers against a glass thermometer, there was a half degree difference, with the glass thermometer slightly lower.
