As Described But Not Great For Me
These little tools are obviously intended for use on finger nails. However, for smaller-scale tasks when dealing with wood, plastic, aluminum and similar materials, they can get the grinding, sanding, polishing job done. This one was ordered with that in mind.The tool was delivered 6 days which was within the estimated delivery interval. The factory packaging and its contents showed no signs of damage.This nail tool is a bit different from most others in that it has an external battery pack instead of a built-in battery. This means it is not exactly cordless due to the power cable which connects the tool to the pack. I suppose “portable” would be a more appropriate term as the battery pack has a belt clip. Regardless, it has a Dremel-like collet chuck which is tool-less albeit a bit unusual. The upper sleeve threads on/off but does not open/close the chuck. There is a second, collar below that one which is knurled. That second collar operates the chuck via a 90 degree rotation from the LOCK to UNLOCK positions. This is not well documented or marked, in my opinion.There is no ON/OFF switch, speed control, forward/reverse switch, etc. on the tool. Those functions are controlled by the battery pack. This makes operation a bit awkward for anyone who has used similar tools where the controls are incorporated into the tool. And, also means, in general terms, two hands are required to use it.The tool operates rather well once you get used to the chuck and the remote control aspects. It is quiet and seems powerful enough to perform the jobs I had in mind for it. The included bits are assorted and fairly numerous. But, there’s only one mandrel for the sanding sleeves which are furnished in various grits. I would prefer to have multiple mandrels for those sleeves.The battery pack is spec’d at 3000 mAh. And, it might be given that it arrived with the display showing 3/4 charged but its initial charge rate was still about 1000 mA when I connected it to a USB power source.The instructions are printed in what has become the typical micro-font for such documents even though the back side of the sheet is blank. To me, that is not only unacceptable, it is nonsensical.I may find times when using this tool makes sense. But, I find the format to be awkward. However, I find it to be as described.

This is the 2nd time I ordered in 4 days. The first one LED screen didn’t work at all. I replaced it for this one… I had clients today and the darn drill didn’t even get to 10 rpms before showing Er and shutting off. The drill was fully powered. How embarrassing!? Smh. I give this product a -10.

Great for nails
This nail drill was pretty easy to figure out using the instructions. You just twist the pen to unlock, pop in the bit, and use the battery pack to control the drill. The dial gives you good control over speed and pressure, so you can slowly learn how to use it. The different tips included are great for cleaning around nails and doing specific sanding/drilling. Overall, itâs been a solid addition to my nail routine and I’m excited to continue my nail journey!

Im just an at-home nail enthusiast, so I really don’t need much power or anything, but this nail drill is amazing for what I need it for. Works great, goes all the way up to 40000rpm and the hand piece is actually pretty lightweight and easy to hold while working. Esta es mi segunda fresa de uñas “semi-profesional”.A diferencia de la anterior, esta viene con una petaca que actúa a modo de control de mandos y contiene la baterÃa.Esto, por un lado, de da una autonomÃa de uso brutal. Lleva más de 8 horas de uso sin que se haya agotado la baterÃa.También permite disponer de una pantalla de visualización donde puedes ver la velocidad de rotación del cabezal, si está rotando hacia un lado (F) o a la reversa (R) o incluso si está pausado (P).Y esa petaca también tiene los controles que permiten hacer rotar hacia un lado o el otro y pausar el cabezal.Esta, que es una ventaja enorme, tiene su contrapartida por el hecho de que la fresa no se puede utilizar sin cable.Vale que el cable es helicoidal y se estira bastante, mucho más de lo que da tu brazo, pero no deja de molestar en ocasiones puntuales. Además, una cosa muy positiva, es que le han puesto a la petaca una especie de gancho que te lo permite colgar del pantalón o de un cinturón, con lo que se minimiza el hecho de estar cargando con la petaca y evita que se te caiga al suelo.El aparato en sà va muy bien por la alta velocidad de rotación que, además de pulir uñas y sacar esmaltados te permite incluso quitarte durezas de la piel con las lijas que se pueden incorporar al cabezal rotatorio.Incluye un práctico soporte donde reposar el cabezal mientras no se usa y también varios cabezales pensados para realizar tratamientos de pulido, fresado, retirada de esmalte, retirada de acrÃlico, cuidado de cutÃculas y varias otras funcionalidades.Es de agradecer también las dos limas de buen tamaño que se incluyen, asà como la brocha que es más grande de lo que suele ser habitual en estos casos.Por último, incluye recambios de lijas para incorporar al cabezal rotatorio ya que, con el uso, pierden eficacia.Si hasta ahora he comentado todas las ventajas de la fresa, quisiera destacar un par de puntos mejorables que, no obstante, no le van a rebajar las 5 estrellas que tiene más que merecidas.El primer punto de mejora es que las diferentes puntas vienen metidas en una bolsa de plástico, cuando en otras fresas que he visto vienen ordenaditas y puedes coger rápidamente la que necesitas. Aquà tienes que trastear con la bolsa de plástico y no es trivial ya que hay bastantes puntas y la bolsa es pequeña.El otro punto de mejora es el método de inserción de las puntas. No es que vaya mal, pero en la otra fresa que uso es mucho más fácil y rápido de intercambiar las puntas.
