Best sunscreen for my rosacea prone skin
I’ve been using this sunscreen on and off for few years, and always get back to it, even after trying different brands and solution, so it remains one of my favorites. I had tried several different brands of mineral sunscreens – both sticks and creams, and this one is my go-to for 80% of use cases such as outdoors, beach time, city walk, even office on some days. It is not without drawbacks, but once you learn what to expect, with enough planning, it works.Color: it is a perfect match for my skin tone, none of the other sunscreens that I tried came even close to that (they are either too orange or too white). My skin is between neutral and warm on scale 2 (1 would be the lightest), it is Caucasian mostly.Texture: as with many mineral sunscreens, this one will often have some shine when put on my face, but I don’t mind it at all. To me that looks like a “healthy glow” makeup. Sometimes I would gently use a napkin throughout the day to wipe sweat, and that helps a lot. I don’t wear my hair open on windy days as they might get stuck. I have this problem with other mineral sunscreens, so it is expected. I have other type of sunscreen for those types of days, but it dries my face, so I always plan what hairstyle to wear vs what sunscreen to use. It might get some time to understand how to spread the sunscreen, as it is somewhat thick – it is easier once you warm it up a bit against your skin.Sun protection: never had problems. I have rosacea, so even short amount of time would create red spots the next day, I am that sensitive even during winter time. This sunscreen always protects me, and I never have problems with it.Skin comfort: it feels very comfortable on my skin throughout the day, I believe my skin is mostly normal or somewhat dry, not sure how that would go with oily skins. A lot of cream based sunscreens make my skin feel dry or sometimes even burn – all for the comfort of being non-sticky; so the choice is often obvious to me in this regard. A big bonus is it never irritated my rosacea; must be all the minimal ingredients.Removal: hydrophilic oil is the best way to remove, as is with other mineral sunscreens. A gentle wash afterwards, and then MLE-based minimal cream to get my skin moisturized.Overall, this is an excellent product in my opinion, but it comes with understanding how to make it work for your lifestyle and use cases. What I had learned is it might be impossible to find the perfect product that works all the time, but this one gets the job done for me for most of my use cases.

Great Sheer Coverage Plus Sun Protection
I have only been using this product for a couple of weeks, but I so far, so good! I love that the formula is lightweight and does not feel heavy on my skin. I can’t stand the feeling of having anything on my face and with this product, I am able to get sun protection and subtly tinted coverage to smooth out my skin tone and imperfections. I don’t wear make-up on my face, so this is perfect for me. I also like that it has a matte finish, as my skin tends to get oily/shiny on my “t” zone by the end of the day and the scent was very faint and not overwhelming like some other products. It also held up well when sweating and did not get in my eyes or change in appearance. I did find that it was a bit drying on my forehead and chin area, but that may be partially to blame on the colder weather. Overall, I really like this product and look forward to seeing how well it protects me once the weather gets warmer.

Feels So Good on the Skin, No White Cast!
I really like this product, which surprises me because bentonite clay and older skin don’t usually jive well. However, as long as my skin is properly moisturized, this sunscreen goes on beautifully. PLUS it gives a nice, light smoothing coverage. The light/medium worked with my slightly olive/neutral skintone. It wears well, and plays well with makeup applied over it. I love the fact that it is a mineral sunscreen–so I’m not slathering chemicals all over my face every day. And there is no white cast whatsoever. A very little bit goes a long way, and take a moment to get used to the rather watery consistency. But this is definitely one of my favorite sunscreens for the face!

My Search Has Ended!
I have spent (wasted) so much money and bought so many similar products, in hopes that I could find one that I would like. EWG’s rating brought me to consider this MyChelle product. I absolutely love it! While I agree with others that the bottle/dropper style package is disappointing, the product however is not! It goes on easily, blends in well with no white-cast, matches my skin tone, and provides clean SPF protection. It wears surprisingly well, too, and there is no foul odor. I mention each of the specific items above because alternative, competing clean SPF products have failed on these measures. I will be buying it again!

Excellent product, horrible packaging
I have been using this as my daily sun protection for my face for many years now. The product itself is great! I love the serum consistency and that it has a matte finish. The packaging, however, is awful. The dropper and bottle are fine for a couple of days, but then get super messy and leak/waste a lot of product. No matter how gentle I am, the plastic cap on the dropper always cracks and then doesnât close fully. I always have to buy a separate product to use while traveling because I am confident this bottle would break if I packed it. I have considered giving up on this product simply because of the how bad the packaging is, but have recently resorted to buying a pump and replacing the dropper cap (works so much better!). I am writing this review in hopes of the company updating the packaging so that we can fully enjoy this amazing face sunscreen.

Good matte sunscreen!!!
This is a very good product!!! It is matte, so no greasy look. The dropper dispenser is not the best because the top will crack and you have to experiment with the amount to use and make sure to shake it well each time you use it. I use light to medium and Iâm sorry to see it is not available. I hope it comes back in stock.

Healthy sunblocks always leave white residue – except this one. I use sparingly so i keep a tube a long time. It does not go off either.
