Amazing for cleaning glass shower doors! Eats the soap scum and residue!
This is the easiest, best product Iâve found for cleaning my glass shower doors. These sponges eat the soap scum and yucky residue right up and all I do is wash glass with these sponges once a week. Wet the sponge, wash the doors a couple times with the sponge, rinse well with hot water, and done! So easy and affective. Iâve tried so many other products that just donât work, so this is a low-cost, easy solution to an annoying problem!

Soap Scum and Mold Be Gone! Yay!
My shower/bathtub combo always gets pink mold around all the shampoos and conditioners and soap scum builds up on the side of the shower/tub after a few weeks. These sponges are fun to use and remove the soap scum and mold fairly easily.I noticed after I’d cleaned the whole tub that a few spots needed a little more attention so I used another half of a sponge and scrubbed a bit longer and the soap scum came off easily when there was such a concentrated cleaning power. I also used half a sponge to clean my sink and it was beautiful and shiny.So I used a total of about four sponges during the whole cleaning because things hadn’t been cleaned for at least over a month. I worked up my courage to tackle cleaning this deep and it turned out great.The only thing these sponges didn’t do was remove the gray hard water stains but those seem impossible to remove without special cleaners. I also noticed these work best when dipped in a plastic cup of water and then they need to be squeezed out – then that releases the best soapy cleaning experience from the sponges. Yay! You will be so proud of yourself after you complete your cleaning jobs! Definitely wear gloves because these sponges have a lot of cleaner in them!~The Rebecca Review5/11/2025 – My mother came to visit and noticed how shiny my kitchen sink was. I went and got her a box of these and gave them to her, telling her it was these sponges that worked so well. The ad worked for me â and so did the sponge (until it disappeared)
I have to hand it to the marketing team behind the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser commercialâI saw that woman look straight into the camera, hold up the box like it was the Holy Grail of cleaning, and tell me to try it. And I did. Because apparently, Iâm that susceptible to a good pitch.And you know what? Iâm not mad about it.This thing works. My bathroom looked like it had been visited by some kind of cleaning fairy with a magic wand. Grime? Gone. Scuff marks? Gone. Soap scum? Bye. It was like watching a mini miracle unfold in my own home.But hereâs the catch: the Magic Eraser is basically the Cinderella of cleaning productsâit works beautifully, but it turns back into a pumpkin (or in this case, a pile of sponge crumbs) before you know it. After one solid use, the sponge started disintegrating, and I realized this is definitely not a ârinse and reuseâ kind of deal. With only five sponges in the box, this could get pricey real fast.I looked it up and learned these are made of melamine foam, which is basically micro-sandpaper that eats itself as it scrubs. The Mr. Clean version also seems to have some kind of secret sauceâprobably a detergent or cleaning agentâthat helps it work better than the cheaper, plain versions you can find online.Therefore, I am going to try out some of the cheaper sponges and see how they work. Overall, Iâm happy I bought this product. It made cleaning way faster and less of a chore. I just wish it didnât self-destruct like a spy message from Mission: Impossible.

Mr clean yes queen!
These worked so good for our bath tubs. I hate the smell of chemicals when it comes to cleaning a bathroom so anything I can do to limit that Iâm all for. Itâs scrubbed well I think the price is good for me they are 1 and done. I will not be taking a dirty sponge back to clean my tub that just defeated the purpose. The size is great and it held up while I cleaned my entire shower and tub walls and everything.

Best cleaning sponge EVER!
Sometimes life gets in the way and cleaning isn’t a priority. This was the recent case of my bathtub. Hate to admit this publicly, but the tub was about a month overdue. The soap scum was so bad that it could be scraped off with my fingernail. The shower curtain was in desperate need of cleaning too.Yikes!I’d been wanting to try some of the “magic” sponges for a while and ordered a box of the bathroom ones. (Regular spray cleaners, including “natural” ones give me such headaches from the fumes – even in a well vented area.) And they are right – these sponges worked like magic on the soap scum! No other cleaners were used or required. These sponges had a pleasant scent that didn’t send me into a headache spiral, but everyone is different.I was only able to get one use though out of a sponge, and that’s ok. People need to realize that these sponges do fall apart quickly based on what is being cleaned, the amount of dirt, etc. They are not the regular cellulose sponge that can last after several uses. These magic sponges are made of melamine foam and will not last as long.I was so pleased with the results I came back and ordered 5 more boxes. Very happy with results.
