Worked but got heartburn
I took it about an hour before bedtime. It did make me sleepy. It also gave me heartburn. I tried eating a bite of protein after taking it. Wondering if anyone had this same problem. Might have to try taking it a couple of hours before.

I started having problems sleeping at night, my doctor recommended these. Â Iâve been taking these for about a week now, I will say that it took a couple of days before I actually started sleeping better. Â However, Iâm still waking up between 2-3am, doesnât take long for me to fall back asleep.

As a person who has struggled with sleep quality for most of my life, I was not expecting much from this product and actually overlooked its effects for the first couple times I took it.If you’re looking for a melatonin or other assistance falling asleep, this is not that. The effect it does have is a subtle relaxation of your mind & body, so that you feel calm enough to get restful sleep after you’re down, and wake up with a pleasant peaceful easy feeling (just like the Eagles song). This was really only made obvious to me after a night during which I had taken this & woke up feeling generally good and ready to move on with my day, and my partner (who had not taken it) was groggy & grumpy after our animals were bothersome during the night. I was aware of the animals’ night escapades, I just wasn’t so bothered by it.The claims they make for “mental calmness” and “relaxation” are definitely there, and I certainly felt calmer & lower stress, but as mentioned these are subtle effects, it’s not a sedative. If you didn’t have anything to compare it to, you would think you just got a great night of sleep.It’s also not a full recommended daily value of any of the ingredients, so if you’re looking to add magnesium to your diet this isn’t going to fully cover it.I may not take this every single night, but I will certainly re-order once this bottle’s empty.

Gave me vertigo:(
I struggle with waking up in the middle of the night so I wanted to try this. It did seem to help some but after a few weeks I started getting vertigo. The B6 and Holy Basil to help with hormones apparently can cause vertigo, this happened to my daughter also.

SO GLAD I DISCOVERED THESE TABLETS
I have been taking these for about 2 weeks and I already noticed subtle improvements such as no trouble falling asleep and feeling more rested the next morning. No grogginess in the morning. I still take 10 mgs of melatonin along with 2 of these tablets. The tablets are on the large size but I don’t have trouble swelling. I have noticed the last few days that no matter how over exerted, tired and achy I go to bed, I wake the next morning feeling much better. I would like it if the price was a little more affordable so that the price won’t prevent people from buying.

It didnât work for me
Iâll start by saying I love Metagenics products. I use their Ultraflora probiotic and Iâve had great success with it. This company manufactures quality products that are 3rd party tested. That being said, I personally didnât notice any significant changes when taking HerWellness. I often have sleep issues and I was excited and hopeful to try this product. Unfortunately, it didnât have much of an impact on the quality of my sleep. Maybe I didnât take it long enough or needed to up the dose. But just because it didnât work for me, that doesnât mean it wont work for you. Â
