This MelodySusie Professional Manicure Pedicure Kit, 8-in-1 cordless Electric Nail Drill set is a really lovely and easy to use and adjustable nail drill to make your at home maniâs and pediâs a breeze.I was a bit skeptical at first as the size of the drill and the attachments are on the larger scale, in comparison to my other nail drill, but once I put it to use, those feelings went away quickly and enjoy the feeling of it in my hand and all of the attachments. I do wish it came with a little storage case or bag for the attachments so you didnât have to carefully preserve the box and plastic tray it arrived in. A nice little bag would be the perfect addition to this set, but not a drawback or deal breaker in any way.I really appreciate all of the settings that make this a very versatile drill and can be used on the most sensitive of nails, and even has a baby setting. I have pretty sensitive nail beds from all the gel nails over the years, and this drill has not come close to getting too hot, but also does the job well.Some of the attachments are a little on the large size, but by no means cumbersome to use, as I initially expected. This lovely unit is cordless and rechargeable via USB-C and makes doing my nails and toe nails a much simpler task than the higher powered smaller corded drill I had before. The battery life so far is really great, I have only had to charge once and have completed quite a few mani and pediâs since its first charge.Another really thoughtful feature of this nail drill is the light on the tip of the drill, making it much easier to see what you are doing, especially when working on your toe nails.I have yet to use the callus removing attachments as my feet are painfully ticklish and I donât really have any calluses on my feet that need that sort of buffering.After a few uses of this product, I would confidently recommend to others

Here are her comments:- I like this drill for pedicures as the body is thicker than my manicure drill, making it easier to hold on to for feet.- The drill attachments included look after everything from wide, overgrown cuticles to painful cracked heels and all points in between.- As the weather has not yet cooperated for sandals, I have only had the chance to use the drill for housekeeping purposes on my feet. These are things like: trimming nails, removing or treating cuticles, treating a vicious heel crack, buffing rough skin and calluses from winter boots, etc.- The different drill heads are easy to switch in and out, and they do a very good job on my feet. I spend a lot of my time on my feet working and exercising, so rough skin, calluses and heel cracks are all things I need to worry about when treating my feet. Also, when you are bent over doing this task, you want to be able to complete it as quickly as possible so you can stand upright again.- I find controlling the speed and direction of the drill to be simple. The drill will move around a bit on you if you have it going the wrong way for the task you are trying to complete, or the speed you have the drill set at. A few minor adjustments, and the drill becomes simple to hold and quick to perform.- I clean the heads with a damp cloth and warm water, unless they are very dirty, then I will also use a little dish soap on them. If I a worried about nail fungus or an infection, I will soak the appropriate bit in a solution of hydrogen peroxide and water. I will also repeat this step if I am using the drill on anyone other than myself.- The drill’s battery life seems to be pretty good. I charged it to full when it arrived a month ago, and I am still working off that charge.- My only request to the manufacturer would be to include a storage solution to safely store the drill bits, the drill, and the charging cord. As it is, I am babying the box, hoping it will last long enough until I can find an adequate storage solution.Recommended.In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

I ordered this mainly for pedicure use due to the larger attachments. So far the unit has worked fine, offers a wide range of speeds, a reverse spin, a light and a long-lasting battery. Itâs easy to hold and use. I find this drill a bit on the noisy side, but thatâs comparing it to the portable MelodySusie nail drill I have. The portable drill sounds like a sonic toothbrush, while the 8-in-1 sounds like an electric toothbrush. The portable drill version also has many more intricate attachments for manicures.The polishing attachment is disappointing and doesnât seem to do much. As far as using it for foot callouses, itâs a slower process than just using a foot exfoliator in the shower, but can be good for finishing off and getting to smaller areas.A carrying case and a pause button would definitely take this nail drill up a few notches, otherwise it is exactly as is advertised and works well.

Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF)This is a nice nail kit with lots of drill bits to choose from. It has some limitations, but overall it works fine. I recommend it.ReviewMany of the comments were provided by my daughter who loves her nails and pamper them more than I do.HandlingAt first it seemed a bit large to fit comfortably in the hand (Iâm 5â6â with regular-sized hands) and it could be contoured for better grip. After a while I got used to it and how to handle it though. I held it in multiple ways to get the right angle for how I want to shape my nail. The on/off switch feels like it should glide but it doesnât, and thus the feel of it is a bit clumsy.PressureI didnât put much pressure on my first hand but realized I could put more when I got to the second hand which made it a lot more effective, faster and easier to clean the nail. Be careful not to press too hard though as I felt a burning sensation twice because I was pushing too hard.Speed and drill bitsI like the different speed levels, they are useful. Lower speed for cleaning the bed of nails, and the faster speed to get into the cuticles. My goal was to be able to clean my cuticles well and this drill accomplished that. It is very precise if you use the correct drill bit. Only the narrowest one worked for my cuticles. This kit comes with many bits and I don’t have a use for them all at this time. I tried only 5 of them, but I prefer just one of them as pointed out in the photo. Perhaps over time I will find uses for more of the bits.LightThe light does not do much to help. You will want to be in an area that has ample lighting as you do not want to do nails in low lighting. I didnât realize this till the next day and noticed that my nails didn’t look as clean as they could. A better light would have avoided this. I have a headlamp that I will try next time.BatteryThe battery was charged fully before first use. It lasted no problem for one full manicure. Did not try two manicures in a row or a mani/pedi and am not sure how long the battery will last.CaseThe kit does not come with a cute case to put everything in, but rather cheap plastic packaging instead, which is not great for storage. I will need to find a little pouch case to keep it in.ConclusionI am not a professional with nail tools, but I have been to the salon many times and I watched the process. I have been doing my own nails more than going to a salon. This was the first nail drill I have used at home and overall, I like it. It works quickly and does a better job than my manual nail tools. My nails feel very clean and I am happy I didnât have to go to a salon to do it. I will keep using it.

I love this little unit! So easy to use, holds the charge really well even on the highest level. Love all the attachments and very appreciative for the guide on what to use when (amateur at-home-nail-applicator). Fair price, I believe. Either way, no regrets and super happy.
