Excellent Set for This Price
I am setting up a First Aid kit for my boat, complete with a âTraumaâ section, (which can easily be carried anywhere/anytime I travel via car/boat) and was pleasantly surprised to find this set for this price. I have just received it today and have already tried it out and it is an Excellent set. The sound resolution with the stethoscope is excellent and I love the large, easy to read dial on the sphygmomanometer. I will be ordering an X-Large cuff as well so I have a more âcomprehensiveâ set. Dawn, RN

It works as it should and is accurate. Enables me to take my own blood pressure or my daughter can take it.

Not intended for use on yourself.
Very nice unit IF you’re going to use it on someone other than yourself. It is NOT intended for self use. Virtually impossible to attach to your own arm since it has no D ring. You can make a loop the correct size and slide your arm in and hope you got it to the correct diameter. But then the process of watching the dial on a too short lead AND with your free hand adjusting the air valve while at the same time holding the stethoscope in the correct place is too daunting and takes way more coordination and patience than I have. You can’t help with the hand where the cuff is or you’ll screw up your reading. So you only have the one hand to do the above. I’m sending it back the same day I got it. 4 stars because it’s a nice unit. Minus one star because the ad wasn’t clear about use on your self.Another thing: you have to pay the postage if you want to return it.

Everything looks good
Received the kit in a few days after order, and everything seems to be in good condition, nothing broken, or missing, but I don’t know if it’s accurate or not yet !! Already have a wrist blood pressure monitor, and an armband monitor, that both seem to be registering higher than what a home-health nurse gets on her readings, so ordered this McKesson kit, but unfortunately, I’m clueless whether I’m getting a correct reading or not. With stethoscope, I can hear my own heart beat, but can’t hear my husband’s. Took the little plastic guard off the end to see if I could hear better, nope. My son is a paramedic, and when he visits, I’m going to have him “walk” me through the procedure. YouTube videos are okay, but they don’t show “practical application”. I give it 5-stars because it is exactly what is described, the arm band is “softer” than the other armband monitor I have, and it doesn’t have a D-ring which my son (the paramedic) says isn’t something most professionals use because it sometimes adds an extra step to make sure the cuff is placed properly in the shortest amount of time. The armband gauge is substantial and large enough to read easily. Without the D-ring, though, it’s harder to adjust if you are monitoring your own blood pressure and not someone else’s.

Good quality set with an affordable price
Had this set checked by our MA program instructor and was told this is of good quality. I am convinced this might be the best quality around this price range. I would recommend it to any MA or Nursing student.

Very high quality unit
The kit was excellent quality, unfortunately it tailored for nurses to use. I purchased for my own self testing and was difficult to wrap cuff around arm without D ring. Therefore had to return for a unit that could be used on oneâs self easier.
