Fairly Easy, Looks Good, and Doesnât Fade Quickly
Love this hair dye. Fairly easy to do, if you follow the instructions, and the results are pretty nice. I always leave it on slightly longer to ensure that it takes better to the hair. Also, it doesnât fade very quickly either.

This is a re- order. The color is mild. With a sexy smoky glow. I’m 68 and never dyed hair that grew out looking with an inch of gray growth in the middle of my hair.lol I do a one bleach once then a gentle gray grow out, I refresh with THIS DYE. Love the product. No salon cost either !!

Easy Platinum for Experienced DIY Bottle Blondes
This review is for the Absolute Platinum color. If you have any experience doing platinum blonde yourself with bleach powder and developer, you’ll know that it’s messy and kind of tricky. Nothing gets your hair whiter than doing it yourself and applying the Wella White Lady toner, but it’s a rocky process such that it’s easy to fry your hair, have uneven spots, or even accidentally tint it purple. Salons in NYC charge you upwards of $200 for just roots and most of the time I’d leave with yellow hair I’d still end up having to fix myself. Enter Feria Platinum. I wasn’t too sure about this at first, but decided to give it a shot and I love it. I am totally back to platinum thanks to the ease of use, the cream spreads really well so you get good coverage, and it didn’t fry my hair. For truly white platinum you’ll need to get a different toner than the conditioner in the package, but overall this is great stuff. Each time I’ve gone platinum it’s been after having dying my hair red or black. I used this product most recently after dying my hair red (also with Feria) and I’ll share how I got my results. My recommendation for doing it with this product is to first start gradually lightening your hair with a golden blonde color. If you’re in a hurry, do it once a week. If you’re not in a hurry, do it when you you touch up your roots, and gradually go a shade of blonde lighter. The last color I did was the Bleach Blonde which ended up making my hair pretty yellow, as expected. I wore a hat for three days and didn’t wash my hair. Today I used the Platinum, putting it first on the darker strands of hair that were still holding onto the old red. After 20 minutes, I worked it into the rest of my hair, then let it sit for 20 minutes. Total time was 40 minutes. I used a disposable shower cap to cover it to prevent the color from drying out and to keep the hair “warm” from the heat from my scalp. My hair is not perfectly white on the ends, nor did I expect it to be, because of the previous red dye. It is pretty light though and only slightly yellow. I plan to use some of my Wella White Lady toner on it in a week after my hair has had some time to recover. The most important thing to remember with bleaching your hair, you need to give your hair time to get some of the oils back and to recover. Have a back up plan for how you’ll wear your hair (hat, scarf, etc) while you’re letting it do so, in case it’s in an awkward state. If you do not have experience with bleaching your hair and your hair has been chemically treated, I highly recommend you do not use this product and have a professional do the initial lightening on your hair. If it’s not light enough, that’s ok, give it time and then try this product to get the final lightening once your hair has recovered. If you have really dark hair, you might need to do it twice. I’d recommend doing a test strand to see how long it takes to lighten your hair and how light you can expect this product to get it. For really even coverage in the past, I’ve used a full head hair dryer (one of those things that you cover your head with a cap and warm air circulates).I have naturally dark blonde hair that is somewhat fine and very oily. I like having it platinum because then it’s not oily by the end of the day, and it gives my hair some texture and body (where normally it just kind of lies flat). I had given up on keeping it platinum because the upkeep was just too much for me, but since discovering this product, I’m back to platinum and happy I can finally maintain it without the disappointment of expensive and inconsistent salon results.

My husband loves the color
Please read all: loves at the beginning and pro tips in the middle and cons/dislikes at the end. Thank you.*** very easy to use*** smells great, does not have an obxnious chemical smell*** Dyes your hair quickly*** worked very well to dye my hair even over non metallic brand splat ombre pink/violet ( I had that color at the top of my hair) and this brand and shade blue metallic at the bottom (the last picture shows how the color my hair was before it faded out to a gray washed out version of it hence gave me the desire to dye it this time all one color) I decided to color my entire head all in the same shade and it covered very well.} Even though it washes out a bit each time you wash it, I love that you can work in the yard or house and work up a sweat and the dye stays on your hair unlike other hair dyes where when you sweat it runs down your face and neck. You can get sweaty and not turn into smurfette with this brand.} This color and brand dyed my hair the exact color to the box color shades predicted. I’ve never before had hair color that matched the box but this did.} I have always hated having my hair a dark color but I love this dark color. Depending on the lighting my hair looks dark blue to violet and sometimes dark brown/black in some camera shots without the flash on it even looks normal dark brown to black.PRO TIPS:1.} Cover your counter in old towels or piddle pads (does stain counters and showers and skin if not washed off asap) before starting to mix the hair dye.2.} Use lotion> I used the dollar tree chamomile relaxing-sleep lotion. Apply around edges of your hair line widely/thick, apply on shoulders, chest. This hydrates your skin as a bonus but even better when you inevitably as we all do-> The ends of your hair that is coated in the dye touches other areas of your body by using the lotion then when you rinse your hair the lotion keeps it from dying your skin and face blue/ purple. If it does get on area without lotion on it quickly/asap wash with soap and water otherwise your skin will be purple/blue til it fades off.3.}. Other people says this dyes your white showers I have learned this is true if you let the color sit and dry on your white or light colored showers/counters/walls but if you wash it with water and even use soap and rinse it very well before it dries it will not color or stain.4.} I did have a few hair strand loss but not a lot. Use the conditioner the kit provides. It made my hair feel so healthy and soft.5.} Make sure to massage the dye in and even comb through it with a non metal comb then massage in again. This helps to evenly coat each hair strand, and seems to help the dye to work or activate better, and you get a massage at the same time.THE CONS1.} The permanent color does fade quickly to a washed out color that I absolutely hated. It does wash out a little bit each time you wash your hair.2.} It will dye your white/light colored towels and will not come out.3.} It does not color dark hair which is a huge bummer. I hate that. You must bleach your hair to blondest blonde possible before using this brand. It will work on light color hair just not dark hair.5.} It will dye your skin and showers/counters if you do not heed my tips.6.} Make sure each time you wash your hair after the initial dying process that you rinse your shower out very well.Over all I will buy this brand and color again.

Vibrant, Long-Lasting Color
Vibrant, Long-Lasting ColorI loved this Chocolate Cherry hair color for its deep burgundy shade, which gives an intense and sophisticated shine to brown hair. The formula is easy to apply and leaves hair soft, without damaging it.I was surprised by the longevity of the color; after several washes, it still looks vibrant and shiny. Plus, the package includes everything you need for a professional result at home.Ideal for those looking for a change of look with an elegant and striking color.

Consider the original hair color
On bleached hair, the dye appears distinctly blue, kinda indigo. The color application is even and smooth. Itâs not very long-lasting, but it doesnât damage the hair as much.Update: last 2 pictures after 6 washes. Rinse out from bleached hair fast. Color became gray with some blue

So so
The color is vibrant and beautiful, but the smell of this product is horrible. I donât know if it is the color or what makes this so off putting. Also it would bleed onto my head towel for several washes after coloring.

I was sure how this would appear o. My hair since I had a red done before and this wasnât the exact color but I love it itâs definitely darker then I though it would be since it comes out the bottle as a very bright red. Thereâs a lot of product my hair is up to my shoulders and I have a fair amount of hair (normal) and I had a quarter bottle left. The shampoo and conditioner that came with it smelt amazing and made my hair not frizzy plus really soft.

This is a beautiful colour. It is a deep burgundy and that was what I was looking for. The quality is amazing. I have a very bad experience with Garnier Nutrise colour. So, I am happy with this one. Please, keep in mind, the time they state is accurate. I left the colour on my hair for 25 minutes. If you leave it longer, no more colour is getting in your hair, but may damage it! They test it.Also, I didn’t wash my hair for 3 days after the colouring. That way, it absorbs the colour deep in to your hair. Then I wash my hair 3 times a week. The colour was still running after the 3 days but only a bit. I couldn’t see it on my pink hair towel at all. I hope, it will last a month before my grey hair will show up again.I agree with some girl’s comments that you need to follow the instructions. Then you will have a beautiful, shinny and smooth hair. I used Garnier for close to 15 years. This is my first experience with other brand and I am very happy that I switched to L’OREAL PARIS FERIA. Thank you Amazon for the fair price! I ordered 2 more and will order again in the future.

The product is good. Bleach makes our hair rough. But this product is a bit mild, doesn’t make hair so rough and the given conditioner inside the package helps. The result is exactly as shown in the picture. And if your hair length is just like in the picture of the front package, you will get the exact result. For longer hair you’ve to buy more than one.
