Surprisingly large, heavy, and well packaged kit, with razor and sunglasses included.The actual treatment was completely painless on level 1, barely noticeable on level 2, not overly painful at higher levels. The flash is VERY bright so do use the sunglasses.This was my first time with a hair treatment. If you already know what you’re doing, this one will work ‘right out of the box’ for you. I didn’t…. and the manual didn’t answer my most basic questions like “how do you do this” (one shot per spot? several seconds per spot? turn it on continuously and move it back and forth over an area?) and, as a safety feature, it won’t fire unless it is pressed to your skin — so you cannot point it at something else and push the trigger to see what will happen.I spent quite a while googling hair treatment before I dared to point this sucker at myself. (And the requirement to shave first – standard with all these treatments, it turns out – is awkward for those of us who are doing hair reduction because we are so bad at shaving.)

I found this surprisingly easy to use and I am impressed with how pain free this is. I expected a shock like zap but it’s more a hot tingle that lasts a millisecond.The sunglasses are helpful since it emits a bright light. I have to use this without others around (my 4 year old especially) as it is blinding if you look at the flash. Unfortunately my 4 year old was like a month to a flame when I used this around him.I have looked at other brands (my mom has one and there was one at a yard sale of all places) and find this one lighter in weight as well as more comfortable to hold.The quality is excellent and even though I haven’t noticed a difference in hair growth, I know it takes a long time of consistent use.

Seeing changes quickly
This Laser Hair Removal Device seems to be working for me, as I have noticed a difference since I started using it a couple months ago. The cooling feature helps to make it less painful, so that makes it much more bearable. I would recommend this and think it would make for a great gift for someone as well. The price point compared to others is good and it works!
