Pads can also be stored in the refrigerator. Use as a breast pump aid to encourage let-down and spend less time pumping. To use as a breast pump aid, heat according to the instructions and wrap around the breast pump flange. Do not overheat. Please follow heating instructions printed on the pads and in the packaging insert. Always test pack temperature prior to use. Customers say
Customers find these breast therapy packs effective, providing relief from pain and swelling and helping with engorgement, particularly during the first weeks of breastfeeding. The packs are easy to prepare and use, and customers consider them a worthwhile investment. However, the temperature aspect receives mixed feedback – while they can be heated and chilled quickly, some customers note they don’t retain heat well. Moreover, several customers report issues with the packs bursting in the microwave.

Must have for breastfeeding moms!
These Lansinoh Breast Therapy Packs have been a lifesaver during my breastfeeding journey. I used them both hot and cold depending on what I needed that dayâwarm for let-down and clogged ducts, cold for soreness and engorgement. The gel stays soft and flexible even when cold, which makes it much more comfortable than using a bag of frozen peas! They fit perfectly inside my bra or around my pump flanges, and I love that they come with soft covers to protect your skin. Cleanup is easy and theyâve held up great through repeated use.Whether youâre dealing with engorgement, mastitis, or just need a little comfort while pumping, these packs are worth every penny. Highly recommend to any new mom!

Comfortable and helps with engorgement postpartum
The lactation consultant at the hospital suggested to use these to help with engorgement when my milk came in. As a first time mom, I didn’t argue. I also heard the way to handle clogged ducts is with ice, so I figured these would be perfect. Super comfortable, and I like the shape of them because after pumping, my nipples are sensitive and the hole in the middle prevents these from causing pain or discomfort. The only down side is that they feel like they don’t stay cold for too long, so I usually start with the covers on then continue to use the cold packs with the covers off for a bit.If you plan to use these for both hot and cold, I would suggest getting 2 pair, one for hit, and one for cold exclusively.

Great for breastfeeding and postpartum
These are a great find for breastfeeding. Theyâre pretty thick and can help with engorgement especially in the early days of nursing. They could also help with Mastitis pain! They can be used hot or cold depending on what relief you need. Theyâre big enough to cover quite a bit of area (depending on your size of course)

Valuable
These therapy packs are a true postpartum essential. Iâve used them both hot and cold â warm for helping with let-down during pumping, and cold for relief from engorgement and tenderness. They heat up quickly in the microwave and stay warm long enough to be effective. The soft covers are gentle on sensitive skin and easy to clean. Whether youâre dealing with nipple pain, clogged ducts, or just need extra comfort, these are incredibly helpful.

Provides Relief
Bought these to get a head start on postpartum prep and to help with second trimester tenderness.Pros:- Shape of the pack contours to your curves- The center cutout avoids heat being directly applied to most sensitive area- Can be used on other parts of the body- Heats up quickly (15 seconds) for nearly instant reliefCons:- The fabric cover. I was expecting a smooth or silky material since youâre placing the pack on a sensitive area. The texture of the material is not extremely soft or smooth, and seems like it would pill after a little bit of use. Definitely a synthetic. Somehow reminds me of the material of cheap doll clothes.- If you overheat (microwave more than 15-20 seconds per pack) they get very hot and puff up. I wish the heating time wasnât so sensitive because truth be told, at some point the microwave will get set to 30 seconds with them in and I have no idea what would happen.- To be fair, these arenât advertised as an incognito relief solution, but I will mention that if you are wearing these in your bra it looks lumpy and noticeable.I just skip the cover and it gets the job done. I let the packs cool slightly and either apply to the skin or between layers. Not sure if thatâs recommended but it works for me. Overall itâs a good value and the covers arenât a dealbreaker for me. If I saw this on a friendâs registry, Iâd buy it again for them.I use a combination of these and the Momcozy Hydrogel pads before bed on days I feel especially tender/sensitive during pregnancy.

Lifesaver for Mastitis and Drying Up Milk Supply
The Lansinoh Breast Therapy Packs have been incredibly helpful for me during some tough breastfeeding challenges. When I experienced mastitis, the cold packs provided much-needed relief from pain and swelling. Using the hot packs before nursing or pumping also helped with milk flow and comfort.Later, when I needed to start drying up my milk supply, the cold packs were a great way to reduce discomfort and inflammation. Theyâre easy to heat or chill quickly, and the soft fabric cover feels gentle on sensitive skin.If youâre breastfeeding and dealing with issues like mastitis or engorgement, these therapy packs are definitely worth having on hand. They made a tough situation much more manageable for me.

Easy to use but be careful for overheat.
Life saver for new mothers and their babies. It can be used as a hot pack for babies. Be careful to overheat; 10-15 seconds in the microwave is good enough for my use.

great
a must have if youâre breastfeeding. freeze and heat up well. thereâs a few times i have to heat them up for like a lot more seconds but either way they work well for production and getting rid of clogs. worth the money. come with cover so the heat or ice isnât too much.

If you are going to have a baby, you NEED this!It heats up quickly in the microwave, or you can freeze it! Helps to prevent mastitis and other breastfeeding issues!! Comes with awesome soft covers that have buttons on them. The buttons click together and it turns the pads into perfect circles with a hole in the middle. I slide my medela breast pump flanges through the middle hole and boom! Instant heat pack to help with let-down thatâs attached to the pump! Soooooo convenient!I only wish I had bought two sets – one for the freezer and one for heat for when I needed to alternate!

My breasts were a little inflamed from being new to breastfeeding and it really helped to be able to put these on after I had chilled them down.
