I honestly canât say enough good things about the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5. Itâs become one of those products I always keep on hand. My skin gets super dry, especially in the winter, and this stuff brings it back to life almost instantly. Itâs thick and soothing without feeling greasy, and it actually works.What I really love is that itâs safe enough to use on my baby, too. Iâve used it on little dry patches, drool rash, even a couple diaper rashes, and it cleared everything up so fast. Very good value, compares well to more lux skincare products
This product compares well to more expensive skincare. It was recommended to me after laser treatment on my face and chest and worked very well for soothing, healing and hydrating my skin. I also put it over other more expensive products to seal them in and make the most of them (i.e. slugging). It is quite thick when you apply it, but it smooths out easily and lasts a long time. It is not sticky but does leave a nice sheen on your skin. The only downside I have seen is that if you have a darker complexion, it might leave a bit of a white cast. In my case, it smoothes out my light skin and, surprisingly, evens out my complexion. I love it and have already repurchased it and also bought its “sister” product with the SPF.

A staple in my skin care
This is a staple in my skincare. I have used various skincare serums including tretinoin that have caused peeling, redness, and dry, flaky patches. This lotion rescues my skin every time. It is very hydrating and removes redness. It doesn’t really have a scent. It is a medium thickness, not too sticky or thick for day wear, but not watery either. Any time I have any kind of peel, resurfacing etc, this product speeds up my healing process. I don’t use it as my daily moisturizer though so I’m not sure how it would work on a daily basis.

I didn’t like this at first. Too thick and felt weird.I kept using it to finish the container up. And it grew on me. It soaks in pretty quickly and does infact help repair skin barrier.My skin is softer using this every night as my last step, i know glob quite a bit on to help protect my.akin at night when i sleep.I apply a tiny bit in the morning as last step also just for some added freshness.The consistency is creamy, does leave a greasiness feeling directly after applying but it does soak in within 30 minutes sometimes quicker (depends on how much you put on) doesnt leave a sticky feeling either (again after soaking in)Consider this a high quality item.No fragrance (thank goodness as i dont do well with overly scented items).This is one of my daily items now. Missing a night or 2 is ok. Just makes my face feel supple and soft. I also dont have dry patches around my nose anymore and thats a huge plus for me.

I noticed that the regular b5 balm seems to have a different formulation compared to the one that is called âsoothing therapeuticâ and so I have specifically bought this one because I love the texture.
