Amazing KT tape
This is great. The coldness in it is great. Its a great KT tape with a level of power to it with the extra kick. They stick very well and still allow for repositioning. They are comfortable, water-resistant and can be worn for several days. I like the little lettering on the strips, kind of made them a little more fun to wear. These allowed great flow and pain relief for some tired muscles. Very functional and beautifully colored.

Worth It
Good adhesive. Great menthol feel. Lasts so much longer than a normal patch or ointment. If I stick it over a shallow vein then it numbs the whole area. The taping doesn’t help me but the menthol is better than any other product I’ve used except that Chinese dragon balm stuff. And this lasts longer so I don’t have to reapply it throughout the day.

Takes a while
I was initially a little let down when I first opened it because I couldn’t smell the Menthol like you can with some other products infused with it but after I put it on I placed a calf sleeve that I usually use for shin splints to stop the rolling at the edges and I noticed about an hr in that the icy feeling of menthol really kicked in! No telling how long it’ll last both in terms of how long the tape will stay on my skin as well as how long the menthol affect will last but so far I’m really enjoying it and it’s nice to have a targeted dual purpose product for my injury on my leg.I did see other people saying they had mixed opinions on the adhesive but I’ve seen this with almost every single KT Tape review area.. some people tend to actually have a really big problem with keeping KT tape on I know I personally have tried everything from their Pro, cotton, and now menthol KT Tape and typically I know that on my skin KT Tape won’t last in the shower and honestly I don’t prefer it either because it doesn’t dry very fast. Other people have the total opposite issue where they find it very very hard to get off I have seen a lot of people have a lot of success with baby oil and letting that soak on before they remove it. Nevertheless KT Tape is always a must for my running kit because it is always a success as far as eating and injury on my legs. My only issue is I know the standard cotton one just doesn’t stick very well on the side of my legs while I’m running, I think because of the motion and it being so stretchy that it just tends to lift very easily but so far I have higher hopes on this sticking because it’s not as stretchy as the cotton. The pro tended to stick way better for running purposes and this kind of feels like an in-between of the cotton and the pro synthetic material but nevertheless I can pretty much predict that as soon as I get in the shower this will come off very easily. I already had an issue with the edges rolling up a little bit when I was putting on my calf sleeve so I don’t think that’s going to be an issue for me personally. At this point I think it really depends on you and your skin with how the adhesive works because like I said I see some people who can wear KT tape for up to a week like it’s advertised and then there’s people like me who can only use it for a single activity – Max 2 days if I don’t sweat and don’t take a shower.

Stay put, cools for hours
Put this on lastnight and itâs exactly the way it was when I woke up.. Ive even got hair on my arm and itâs still sticking.. the menthol effect lasted for about 2-3 hours which was impressive as well. Iâll be sticking with this brand from now on

As a worn-out GenX paratrooper with knees that sound like bubble wrap and muscles that have been through four decades of abuse, Iâve come to rely on KT Tape like itâs duct tape for humans. Iâve used the original for years no complaints, no drama.Then I got excited. A version infused with menthol? Brilliant! Now I could ditch the gallons of Tiger Balm and just stick on some icy magic. Or so I thoughtâ¦Spoiler alert: these things are useless. The adhesive on this menthol version is about as committed as my New Yearâs resolutions. I slapped them on both knees and felt like a million bucks, for about 10 minutes. Then they started peeling off like they were late for a hot yoga class.Great concept, terrible execution. I really wanted to love them, but unless they fix the stickiness issue, Iâm crawling back to the OG version. At least that one stays loyal longer than a cheap Band-Aid in a rainstorm!!
